Rooms are only cleaned every 4 days. That's actually gross considering dogs pee and poop on these rugs. Any more then 4 days and the hotel doesn't like it We stayed for 2 weeks and the vacuuming was ...Rooms are only cleaned every 4 days. That's actually gross considering dogs pee and poop on these rugs. Any more then 4 days and the hotel doesn't like it We stayed for 2 weeks and the vacuuming was not done until day 10. The hotel accused us of having one extra person in the room which was not the case. The room was left clean but the manager told the Head Office that it was dirty, I have pictures to proof that we left the room clean. My son decided to sleep on the floor with extra blankets, two days later he developed eye infection. I was told by a staff that there are dogs in these rooms all the time doing their dirty business on the rugs and the rugs are not cleaned after each use, not even once a month are they cleaned. This i was told after i reported my son's eye infection. House Keepers complained that we pulled apart the sheets everyday. Of course they were, we were sleeping on the bed. People would be smoking in a no smoking area - right in front of the main doors, staff didn't say anything to them. We couldn't use the air conditioner as it was dirt and would blow dust into the air when turned on. Behind the tv was dusty and in other places of the room. The East Indian Manager was rude to any other culture except her own. She even gave discounts to other East Indian Ppl. I would be in the lobby reading and over-hear what was being said. I asked Head office of the hotel to investigate the hotel and possibly refund me some money but no one phoned me back and the East Indian Manager told head office lots of lies about my family even though I have picture proof, just to cover her story up.Show More

Some points: - Queen studio room was great, had lots of room, a nice kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. I believe a hot plate could be obtained from the front desk to use as a stovetop. - didn’t use the pool or gym, but they looked good. Important to note that there is no hot tub. - Continental breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts I have had, for sure. Pancakes, a waffle station, toast, cereal, fresh oatmeal (with lots of topping options), yogurt, fruit, and even a little station where you could make your own breakfast sandwich. We were originally going to go out for breakfast one or two days but stayed at the hotel for breakfast each morning - very convenient location. Roughly 10 minutes to the West Edmonton mall, and an easy drive to the highway to access other parts of the city. Lots of good restaurants in the area. The hotel has a really welcoming entrance and lobby area that made a great first impression. We especially appreciated the included breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. The pool was a hit, as well. One feature we really liked was the ability to text the front desk. It made communication easy and convenient. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Not much privacy . Also, there was a very rude customer berating the front desk clerks and not allowing other guests to check in, 10 minutes had gone by, We ended up leaving and staying in another hotel. Also, we felt unsafe staying there and will be off of our list to ever go back. Show More
