I was profoundly disappointed by my treatment at this hotel and feel obliged to warn others about the horrendous customer service you may receive if you choose to stay here. I chose this hotel becaus...I was profoundly disappointed by my treatment at this hotel and feel obliged to warn others about the horrendous customer service you may receive if you choose to stay here. I chose this hotel because of its affordable rates, but I ended up losing way more money because of that choice. You would be better off spending more to stay somewhere else. My problems arose because I lost my drivers license when I stopped for gas while driving to the hotel from out of town. I didn’t realize I had lost it until I got to the front desk. I explained to Dulce, the manager who was staffing the front desk, that I now lived out of town because my house had burned down in the Palisades fire and did not have access to any other physical ID card in Los Angeles. I also showed her digital copies of my drivers license and passport, which she initially said she would accept if they were not expired (which they were not). It took me a while to scroll through my phone to find them, though, because of the medical issue I am in town to deal with. I think my slowness upset her, because once I showed her the IDs she changed her mind and said she would only accept them if I also showed her a Costco card. I explained that I hadn’t replaced all of my cards after the fire, so I didn’t have a Costco card to show her, but that I did have the credit card I had used to make the reservation, as well as other credit cards, a health insurance card, etc. She refused to allow me to check in, which was problematic to me due to my health issues. But even worse, she forced me to pay for a night in the room that she refused me access to. Moreover, Dulce treated me with a lack of respect and common human decency throughout this process. The inflexibility of the hotel is reflected in numerous other reviews, which I wish I had paid more attention to before this dehumanizing experience I had today.Show More

Le personnel a été aux petits soins tout au long du séjour, mention spéciale aux voituriers et à l’équipe du petit déjeuner, toujours souriants et attentionnés. Le buffet du matin était excellent, avec un chef qui prépare des omelettes à la demande, un vrai plus ! La vue panoramique sur tout Los Angeles depuis l’hôtel est superbe, difficile de trouver un rapport qualité-prix aussi bon dans la ville. La localisation est idéale pour visiter tous les points touristiques : proche des quartiers incontournables et d’Hollywood (un peu plus loin, mais facilement accessible si l’on évite les heures de trafic). Si je devais revenir à Los Angeles, je reviendrais sans hésiter dans cet hôtel !Show More

The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed breakfasts with a large selection of options. The staff (especially at the breakfast station) are really nice! Thanks to it, we could save on transportation costs. This was especially good for me as I needed to go to UCLA often. We also enjoyed the pool (free).
