La gentilezza e attenzione dello staff, la bellezza architettonica dell’albergo e la posizione davvero ottima. Avevamo scelto questo albergo per un compleanno importante della famiglia. Era una sorpresa e venivamo tutti da parti diverse di Italia. Lo staff è stato complice nel mantenere la sorpresa e ci ha permesso di festeggiare con un bel brindisi nella terrazza con la vista mozzafiato sui tetti di Firenze. Sono stati UNICI!! L’albergo è davvero bello. Diverso dagli stereotipi degli alberghi attuali.. tutti uguali. la parte antica e quella moderna sono in piena armonia, con materiali e forme che creano un bel gioco di luci e ombre e nel complesso rendono gli spazi ampi molto accoglienti. Le stanze sono belle e silenziose (noi ci affacciavamo sul cortile interno con la piscina), e luminose, letti comodissimi e ambienti puliti Colazione ottima, molto assortita sia salata,, che dolce in una sala ampia con soffitti altissimi e affrescati. Posizione fantastica, a 7 min a piedi dalla stazione e in pieno centro. Siamo stati benissimo e speriamo davvero di tornare. Uno dei migliori soggiorni per noi.Show More

Una gentilezza e un livello di attenzione dello staff che non abbiamo mai trovato altrove. Avevamo scelto questo albergo per festeggiare un compleanno importante della famiglia che veniva da vari parti d’Italia. Lo staff è stato complice nel mantenere la sorpresa per la festeggiata ci ha permesso un suggestivo brindisi sulla terrazza con la vista mozzafiato sui tetti di Firenze. L’ Albergo è bellissimo esteticamente. C’e’ una perfetta armonia tra la parte antica e quella moderna, con uso di materiali e forme che creano un gioco di luci ed ombre davvero ben studiate. Complimenti all’ architetto che ha saputo valorizzare questo edificio storico. Stanze belle e pulite. Silenziosissimo (avevano una stanza sul cortile interno con la piscina) e letti comodissimi. Colazione ottima, sia dolce che salata in una bella sala ampia. Posizione perfetta, a 5 min dalla stazione e in pieno centro. Speriamo davvero di tornarci. Excellent twin room - very spacious, clean and modern bathroom. The hotel is in an excellent location for visiting all the key sites of the historic centre of Florence - all walkable within 15 mins. Also 10 min walk from the station as we flew in and out of Pisa (this is ideal as the immediate area around the station, as in most cities, is busy, noisy and unattractive). The staff were very helpful and welcoming and the breakfast was plentiful and varied. The rooftop bar was hit and miss - closed 2 out of the 3 days we visited (or at least not open for the full 3 hours advertised), however when open the views were wonderful. As we visited in October, we didn’t use the terrace or pool - but they looked lovely (although the pool is smaller than it looks in hotel photos). As others note, the only English language TV stations are 24 hour news channels - not a big issue for us, but if the weather had been inclement we may have spent more time in the room.Show More
