We stayed at Hotel De La Ville and to be honest it exceeded our expectations. Our suite was ready well before the usual check-in time, and the hotel team kindly let us check in early without us even asking! It might seem like a small thing, but for us it was a very thoughful and considerate gesture. The junior suite room was spacious and elegant with a perfect mix of classic charm and modern comfort. Even the bathroom was spotlessly clean, The buffet breakfast was incredible! There was plenty to choose from like fresh pastries, fruits, Italian specialties, and even made-to-order dishes. It was a hearty treat to start to our mornings before heading out to explore Florence. What stood out the most, though, were the hotel staff. Everyone we met was genuinely kind, welcoming.They made us feel like valued guests every single day. So glad we booked here as it was well worth it! Hotel De La Ville didn’t just meet our expectations it surpassed them. If you’re planning a trip to Florence, we highly recommend this place.Show More

The rooms were perfect. There were adequate elevators for 50 people checking in at the same time. The moment we entered the hotel, the staff was immediatly guiding us to which elevators to use so that everyone could get to their room easily. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff is TOP NOTCH. The customer service was fantastic. We enjoyed the little bar near the lobby prior to going out at night. A huge thanks to the staff for making this experience so great. Easy walk to restaurants, shopping and attractions including the Academia, Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, Pitti Palace,the Ponte Vecchio and train station. We had a suite overlooking the street and it was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept well with no noise from the street.An issue with the air-conditioning was dealt with promptly. All staff were friendly, efficient and helpful at all times. Breakfast was very good. We would highly recommend this hotel for location, great staff and a wonderful atmosphere.Show More

The location has to be one of the best in the city - easy walk to the station, the Duomo, Piazza Republica and Ponte Vecchio. The hotel is located on a mainly pedestrianised street so no vehicle disruption outside. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly - they are an asset to the hotel. My single room was on the small size but had everything I needed and it was spotlessly clean. Very good selection at breakfast and all very tasty. This is now my “go to” place to stay in Florence.Show More
