This was our 3rd visit to the hotel which we use when visiting our daughter who lives in Wimbledon. Lovely location, but the only thing I find disappointing is that the rooms aren't very soundproof (n...This was our 3rd visit to the hotel which we use when visiting our daughter who lives in Wimbledon. Lovely location, but the only thing I find disappointing is that the rooms aren't very soundproof (no double glazing and creaky floorboards). We had booked a room with a garden view, but they put us overlooking the car park again, although 'upgraded' us to a slightly bigger room with a Nespresso machine. They offered to move us after the first of 3 nights, but it was to much hassle by then as we were out all day from early morning. Nice walk from the hotel into the village which has nice coffee shops for breakfast and a good selection of restaurants. Not too far to train station for going into London.Show More

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable, but the whole place is getting very tired. Nit sure if it has every been updated since first open.
