We were cordially greete...This was the first stop on a two week Mediterranean vacation. What an excellent start to our trip. Naturally, we were exhausted after an all night flight from the states. We were cordially greeted by several doormen who ushered our bags to our room, then we were checked in by very friendly desk staff and then were welcomed to our room by a Guest Relations representative who gave us a quick orientation of the accommodations. We were instantly relaxed. The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean. We had no trouble relaxing and feeling at home. The bed was very comfortable. Our room faced the street but was not noisy at all. The breakfast buffet was first class and the staff was very attentive to our needs. The rooftop bar/dining has excellent views but has a nice, cozy, private feel. The concierge desk was always staffed by at least two people who offered excellent recommendations for dining options and made all of our transportation arrangements. The hotel is very well located in walking distance to the old gothic city as well as Sagrada Familia. I highly recommend this hotel.Show More

From the warm welcome to the attentive service throughout the week, nothing was too much trouble. Every staff member we encountered was gracious, professional, and truly invested in making our stay unforgettable. The suites were elegant and comfortable, the rooftop was magical, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel carried a timeless grandeur. But what made our experience extraordinary was the genuine kindness and personal attention we received. The staff didn’t just provide service—they created memories we will carry forever. Warm, welcoming, smiling personnel, providing a clean, pristine, plush respite from busy Barcelona sightseeing activities. Rooms and beds are so comfortable and we slept well without noise or disturbance. Breakfast spread was excellent but the cheerful, highly attentive breakfast team are the true stars. Adult daughter and I found El Palace to be a manageable walking distance or a short bus, metro, or cab ride to many attractions, bars, restaurants, cafes. As female travelers we felt safe in and around the hotel and notably after dark. Praise God our Barcelona adventure was fantastic and in great part due to the warmth and the impeccable service provided by the entire El Palace family. We would never consider staying anywhere else if ever in Barcelona again. Heartfelt thanks to all our friends at El Palace!Show More

The staff was very courteous and ensured the dining room was stunning as well the service provided to all guests by the hotel staff in the dining room at all times. The entire hotel to include the rooms are spectacular (extremely clean and fresh) and the service provided daily to include your evening (turn-down) service was absolutely superior. My wife and I loved this hotel and enjoyed every minute of our time at El Palace Barcelona. El Palace Barcelona definitely rocks!Show More
