The convenience alone was incredible, but the experience at the hotel was what truly made the trip memorable. I went with my wife and our 12-year-old son, and from the moment we arrived, the customer service was unmatched. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay great. It didn’t feel scripted; it was genuine hospitality from top to bottom. The hotel itself is gorgeous, boasting a beautifully curated design, inviting spaces, and a vibe that feels both historic and modern. Every little touchpoint was thoughtfully crafted to add to the experience. The key cards, the in-room magazine, and the boxed waters with the same gorgeous mural from the building, all woven together in a seamless presentation. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet given the downtown buzz right outside. One of the unexpected highlights? The breakfast. Absolutely incredible. Fresh, thoughtful, and way above what most hotels offer, it set the tone for each day in the best way. Between the unbeatable location, the above-and-beyond service, and the overall energy of the place, Hotel Figueroa delivered in every possible way. However, I would definitely return again for the hotel alone. The property was extremely well-kept, vintage and luxurious, with excellent communication and service. The rooms were spacious and comfy with plush sheets and pillows, and we were consistently greeted with friendly faces and helpful staff members. From the check-in counter immediately informing us of an elevator maintenance issue and letting us know how it was being remedied (and it was- super fast!), to the housekeeping staff offering additional waters, with an excellent and cheerful restaurant and bar team for pre-show drinks and breakfast the next day, everyone was truly cheerful and elevated our day with their joy and conversations!! Major shout out to the Valet Team as well (We love you Jonathan and Anthony!!) for their incredible service and good humor, despite our group’s many (many) struggles with being proactive or efficient. They were always patient, helpful, and accommodating no matter what! Can’t wait to be back!!Show More

It is an old building /boutique style property that has pretty much everything you need for a nice stay. We checked in and the staff couldn't be more welcoming and kind. Even though you are going to pay downtown prices for parking - the valet staff is amazing and always made us feel good about leaving our car with them and special shout out to Eddy and Manny M, you guys really embody the true spirit of hospitality. Our room was a basic QQ which served our purposes but there were a couple of design choices I would change. The barn sliding door offers zero privacy so be aware you will hear your companions every move in there. In our particular room the coffee maker and ice bucket were situated on a table that we could have used - and the mini fridge, while very nice to see, was just sat on the floor which we found awkward- there would be a simple solution to this - standard hotel furniture you could use like a console that stores the fridge and coffee/icebucket items. That would make the table useable space for the guest. That is a minor quibble but it would have kicked the room quality up a notch. The beds were comfortable and we found the AC to function as it should which is always appreciated. The pool area is great, it has nice shade on one side so you can hide from the sun on a hot day. We were lucky enough to see the lovely Aqualillies doing their synchronized swimming practice and they were so good! If you can catch them they are great. Ordered room service poolside and the burger was awesome. Went to Cafe Fig for Saturday brunch and it was very good, highly recommended. It's nice to have great food options on property so we didn't have to wander off property to find great food. All in all I would definitely stay here again. Mostly we used the place to crash, so didn't get to explore too many of the actual amenities, but the room was comfortable and we got complementary bottles of water. My friend wasn't arriving until the day after I was, so I left her name at the front desk and the concierge got her a key to check in when she got to the hotel. Super conveniently located in the DTLA area; it was such an easy walk back and forth from the arena and to some of the surrounding restaurants and eateries we visited during our stay. The only thing that's a little annoying is that the elevators are pretty slow and there are only 2 of them, but I was mostly coming in and out at off-peak hours so I only had to wait maybe once. Definitely recommend staying here if you're ever attending multi-day events in the area!Show More
