Have stayed at the Hotel Muse more than 10-15 times over the last 10+ years, we love the decor / vibe and location. It has had its good and bad times throughout this time, but we keep coming back. It ...Have stayed at the Hotel Muse more than 10-15 times over the last 10+ years, we love the decor / vibe and location. It has had its good and bad times throughout this time, but we keep coming back. It has fairly recently changed from an Accor hotel to now owned by the Marriott group . On this visit ( a work trip) in November 2025 the price was approximately usd $25 - $30 per night more than any previous stay, I arrived at 3pm on a Friday for check in and it was a mess to be honest. 2 ladies at check in stared at their screen looking at my booking details which was all paid in advance, for 10 + minutes without telling me what was the concern. After me quizzing them it appeared there computer screen was not showing my room as ready yet? The welcome drink which has been part of check in at this hotel for ever , never appeared and once my keys were finally handed over I was left to carry my luggage to the room which has always been handled by porters . I have now been here a week and everything thing else seems ok / unchanged. I wonder if this new check in experience which was terrible , is the new normal under Marriott? More expensive- less service? Not sure - but location and decor is still great, but if the price continues to stay up here , I will look around for alternatives as always plenty of good options in Bangkok. The staff are ex...Back to my favourite city in the whole world, and I don't consider staying anywhere else other than Hotel Muse (probably the fifth year I've done so). I love the decor and ambience. The staff are excellent and always make you feel very welcome, plus its a very convenient location for exploring Bangkok too. This time I was here for 3 weeks. It was a bit of a work retreat for me, so I chose Nimman Suite with its amazing balcony for relaxing on. I've had problems in past years with WiFi in the Penthouse, but in the Nimman Suite it was fast and reliable, which was very important to me as I was working a lot. In past years I was unable to check in before 3pm, which is a problem when your flight lands at 6am. This time I was able to check in as soon as I arrived, which I really appreciated. Huge improvement! Just two bits of feedback... Quite a few days the room was not restocked consistently, either missing coffee, creamer or minibar drinks. Not a big problem, but for a 5 star hotel you would expect it to run like clockwork. The checkout process was also very slow, for reasons which are not clear. Again not a big problem, but could definitely be improved. I'll definitely be back to Hotel Muse anyway, and thankyou for an awesome vacation experience!Show More

While it is not in the most touristic spot, it is perfectly located to reach a number of shopping malls along the high end phloenchit road and has very nice eating spots walking distance. It is close to the beautiful Lumpini park too. The hotel is designed with a purely 1920s 1930s era Jazz blues theme , right from the dim ambience to the interiors colors and furniture. A lot of thought n effort has been put in. The rooms again follow a similar decor theme tho all the modern comforts in bed, toiletry n hotel room accessories are provided. They have large French windows to give you a view of the bangkok skyline. Breakfast is very good and they have a live station to provide u with western and oriental dishes. The hotel boasts 3 outlets the Medici in the basement which is Italian with a live musician on stage, the steakhouse and the speakeasy sky bar on the roof again w live music on certain days. All keeping w the thematic tone. A very unique and interesting hotel to stay in or even visit for an evening meal or drink. It is just magnificent from the moment you enter. Contemporary European art in the lobby gives you a feel of a kind. Let's review in four parts: 1. Room: Juta King room, black theme, outstanding room. Great space, superb art on the wall, chic furniture & a spectacular washroom! It is just wonderful. 2. Service: Very good service. Housekeeping is quick & prompt. I'd say a 10/10 for service too 3. Location: Smack Bang in the middle of Bangkok. Surrounded by luxury five stars all around. Doesn't get any better really, the location. 4. Food: Went to the rooftop bar to try some delicacies. Had a burnt cheesecake & a mocktail of some sorts, blueberry with something (sorry forgot the exact name) It was brilliant! The vibe of the rooftop is superb, and obviously the food has to be.
