We were very lucky with the weather, so ...This is an HONEST REVIEW of how I found the RH Princesa.I could have given 3.5 stars if allowed. Sitting here on our last evening reminiscing on the last week. We were very lucky with the weather, so helped a lot. The hotel itself is situated on a slight hill around 5 mins walk to the old town. The location is out of its control, but it only gets the sun for a few hours a day in the splash pool at the side of the hotel, due to high rise buildings all around it. However the splash pool is a great add on for the kids. They loved it, but the water was freezing 🥶. The animation team were amazing, really got involved and interacted well with the kids during the disco and kids clubs. Evening entertainment was very hit and miss. Some very good, some..........😭 We were staying in a room for 3. 2 adults and 1 child in a put me up bed. Not a lot of storage.Pack lightly and don't bring long dresses if you like them to hang in the wardrobe. The cleaners did a good job, working tirelessly throughout the day. One of our families room wasn't cleaned on the last day, but with a phone call to reception it was arranged promptly. BUT...... after cleaning they gave them a bottle of ant spray as there is an ant issue with some rooms, balconies etc. The food in the restaurant was just OK. Nothing special, nothing that makes you go WOW! You could probably put a meal together, if you weren't too fussy. Soups were good, fish soup was my favourite. Salad is a salad. Mains show cooking steak, pork joint, turkey, beef carvery, again very good. Some of the food I felt was disappointing to say the least. I know that there's a budget to work to, but try to think what works. Now onto the puddings. SHOCKING!!!! Why put cinnamon into nearly everything, rice pudding, custard, cakes. Very limited choice. Lucky there's an ice cream machine. Out of service one evening. I've stayed in other hotels in Benidorm, and this pudding selection was by far the worst I've experienced. Why is there no table service for drinks in the entertainment area. Everyone queuing up, with bar staff behind a counter. Would I class this as a 4 star, probably not, even comparing with others that I've stayed in in Benidorm. Would I stay here again? Really don't know. Very good for kids, like mentioned previously animation team , kids facilities are very good. Maybe as a family, but defiantly not as a couple.Show More

I highly recommend this place for families. It is absolutely spotless, the cleaners and domestic teams need a fab mention as it really is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in on holiday. Food options were always plentiful and hot. Great choices and theme evenings were a great welcome. Ice cream whippy machine for the kids which went down as a great treat. Welcomed with a smile into the restaurant every evening. The bar staff are hardworking special shout out to Jorge Luis - Marina - Manuel! Always service with a smile. The play area is a good run around for the kids. The kids club I feel was a little boring for the younger children, didn't appear to be any activities set up or toys out. Lots of kids seen on the computer games but nothing really with younger kids. I think that would be my only criticism in terms of what the hotel provides. Kids disco was good but quite loud. We would definitely return. However, when travelling with children we are always so vigilant around water - I would say from what I seen and experienced there was a lax approach around the lifeguards. Seen a few people who required first aid due to cuts, slips and falls, one parent had to go inside to get help from a staff member from the bar when there was a lifeguard present who should of seen the immediate need for help given the situation with the child. There must of been a conversation thereafter as they removed the parasol from blocking the view to the splashpad. Great week, great hotel, good location, short walk to the beach, fantastic staff. Food was lovely, looked forward to it every day, we went half board but would go all inclusive next time, always got a table immediately and never queued for anymore than a few minutes, staff were very sociable and friendly my 2 year old grandson loved a high five with them all in the restaurant which was one of the cleanest and most stunning restaurants I’ve been in. So much to do for the kids, mine loved the soft play, trampolines and mini golf all free of charge, mini disco was great for the kids, short but just enough as the kids can get bored when it drags on, we also loved the main entertainment, and the entertainment they put on for Halloween night was brilliant, along with the decor, the staff dressed up too and interacted with all the kids and adults, great entertainment, pools were good too, cold this time of the year but my kids didn’t care they were in them splashing and diving about loving it, the little splash park is a great asset for smaller children and I found the pool areas to be very safe with imitation grass area around them. Great location for both the old and new town, we preferred the old town and went there often, not much more I can say but well done to all staff and management for the running and upkeep of an excellent place to stay while in Benidorm you make a great team and my family and I will definitely be back 🤗☀️Show More

During their most recen...⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My mum and dad have stayed at this wonderful hotel around eight times, and it has always been a favourite of theirs, especially as the staff always remembered them. During their most recent stay, my mum sadly took unwell the night before they were due to fly home and was rushed to hospital. My sister, brother and I flew out to Benidorm to be with them, and from the moment we arrived, the staff at the RH Princesa were simply incredible. The reception team immediately helped us find accommodation within the hotel and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable for the duration of our stay. We had to extend our booking several times because of how long my mum was in hospital, and the reception staff were amazing — bending over backwards to accommodate every change and always checking how my mum was doing. The bar staff were equally kind and caring, constantly asking after her and showing such genuine warmth and concern for our whole family. The RH Princesa has always been a lovely, welcoming hotel, but this experience showed just how special the people who work there truly are. Their kindness, compassion, and professionalism made such a difficult time so much easier for all of us. Thankfully my mum was discharged from hospital and we are all back home in Scotland now ❤️ We’ll never forget the care and support we received — thank you to every single member of staff at the RH Princesa for everything you did for my mum, dad, and our family, you truly are amazing! 💖 — The Harkins FamilyShow More
