When I arrived, I was asked to tap my Amex to make sure I got my onsite food & beverage credit - that was it, that was all that was said. Lo and behold when I received my receipt after leaving the hotel did I see I was charged an $87 "destination fee." I honestly have no idea what that was for (don't give me the BS about wifi, gym, etc. - those are basic, expected amenities). I am sick to death of these hidden, unbundled money grabs that you can't opt out of. At least with airlines I don't have to check a bag or pay to choose a seat - it's not like they're charging me separately for wing maintenance and lavatory use, which is what these stupid destination fees are. The room itself was decorated nicely enough, and I liked the tile in the bathroom, but it was TINY - I've had bigger hotel rooms in Manhattan. It also wasn't cleaned after the first day, and we were then told we had to request service. 1) that wasn't disclosed at check-in or else I would have; 2) the labor shortages caused by COVID ARE OVER, so please stop using this as an excuse to cheap out and keep even more of my money. It's a slap in the face with a "destination fee" not to even clean rooms on a daily basis - again, that's a basic hotel service and not something I should need to request. The hotel is perfectly located—close to the train stations, shops, and major Seattle attractions—making it easy to explore the city on foot. The guest service was exceptional from start to finish. Every staff member we met was friendly, helpful, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. We highly recommend upgrading to a suite—it’s worth every penny! The suite was unbelievably spacious, beautifully designed, and offered all the comforts you could ask for. It truly elevated the entire experience. And don’t miss Rider, the hotel’s restaurant. The food was sublime—fresh, creative, and delicious. We ended up dining there multiple times because it was that good! Did we mention there’s also a coffee shop in the lobby? They serve delicious drinks and the baristas really know how to make you feel at home. Hotel Theodore has become one of our favorite places to stay in Seattle, and we can’t wait to return.Show More

My booking included breakfast at their cafe as per the front desk "you have complimentary breakfast at the cafe, just book it to the room and it will be removed". (Note, 2 different front desk people told me that.) Only to find out there was a limit of $15.00. I ordered a breakfast croissant the only item they have for breakfast, with a juice. it came to $17.00. When I call in to get a copy of my invoice that was not emailed to me (twice) and ask why there is a $2.00 charge, the supervisor says that's because your breakfast bill was $2.00 over the allowed voucher amount. She says she'll talk to her team. But she can't refund the $2.00. How cheap is that. I just spent $477 at your hotel, ate at your restaurant, and you can't refund $2.00???Show More

For by boyfriend and I being in the city for one night to attend a concert it was honestly perfect. My only issue - the bill I was charged at the end of the stay that I was not expecting. I had paid for the hotel when I booked it in its entirety (or so I thought), and was expecting the $60 valet charge but ended up owing double that. There was various different taxes and destination fees that I ended up owing - so when I thought I would get my $75 hold on my credit card BACK at the end of the trip like they said, I was actually charged another $40 on top of it to cover everything else. A bit annoying - my only advise is to be a bit more upfront about pricing when booking so there are no surprises to the bank account. :) This hotel was beautiful though and for a young couple like us - had just the vibe we were looking for.Show More
