I contacted the hotel immediately. Aside from a single generic reply saying my request was “forwarded to a colleague,” the hotel has completely ignored all further communication. No explanation, no update, no investigation — absolutely nothing. This level of silence and lack of responsibility is unacceptable for any hotel, especially one in this category. While reviewing other guests’ experiences online, I noticed multiple reviews mentioning missing or stolen items during their stay, with the hotel denying any responsibility. After my own experience with an unexplained charge and zero communication, I unfortunately have to say that these concerns now feel much more believable. Because the hotel refuses to provide clarity, I have had to: • Report the transaction to my bank, • Notify my travel agency, • Consider escalating the case to the relevant authorities. Based on my experience, I strongly advise travelers to be very cautious with their payment information and personal belongings when dealing with this establishment. Until Hôtel Vernet improves its security, transparency, and customer service, I cannot recommend staying here.Show More

T...Room small and crammed full of things. It had tea and coffee making facilities which were hard to use due to the small table they were on. The arm chair was squeezed in between the bed and the wall. Tiny wardrobe in which the hanging space was inadequate for a pair of trousers. Nowhere to put my toiletries. Big sink on small table. Splashed everywhere. Unable to close plug in sink. They need to have a rail or some such in the shower for safety and convenience. Small useless luggage rack for a modern suitcase that opens in the middle. I needed to use half the bed for it. The pre stay communication asked, amongst other things, which was more important, a view or room size....I got neither and the hotel appeared pretty quiet. It was great to have opening windows. However situated outside were the air con units so that they needed to be closed at night due to the hum of the units.First morning I ordered scrambled eggs. They were very unusual and I didn't finish them...very unusual for me. Water pressure and temp of water in shower excellent. Towels and bathrobes lovely. Staff very helpful and pleasant. I wondered if I had the correct room as there was a welcome note for someone else! I was assured it was the correct category. To me, a hotel is mainly about a nice spacious room, not about fitness facilities etc.Show More

The hotel is near the new LV Hotel - under construction and lots of noise. I stayed at the Hotel during PFW, so I wasn’t able to get an upgrade - bummer! The premier room I was given was very very dark and it was facing the construction. There was little lighting in the room, and the one light fixture in the room was a lamp and I had to flip it up facing the ceiling to get any lighting in the room. It was also raining, so coupled with a dark room and compounded by the constant construction, it was quite a dreary experience. The room was very clean. Luckily I was out most of the day! The hotel staff was very attentive- Fernando the bartender was awesome. Breakfast was delicious.Show More
