From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful — not just polite, but truly welcoming. They were always available with recommendations and made everything feel easy. The room was modern, comfortable, and very well laid out. The bed was great, the decor felt stylish but modern without trying too hard, and everything was spotless. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day — the whole hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. The location honestly can’t be beat. You’re right on Gran Vía, walking distance to shopping, restaurants, Puerta del Sol, and basically anywhere you want to be in the center of Madrid. It’s perfect if you want to explore the city on foot. Breakfast was another highlight. Great quality, fresh options, and a lot of variety — definitely worth including. It was a really nice way to start the day before heading out. Overall: friendly staff, comfortable rooms, excellent cleanliness, great breakfast, and one of the best locations in Madrid. My stay here was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. I was assaulted and forcibly pushed off an elevator by another guest that for some reason decided he and his wife would ride alone despite ...My stay here was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. I was assaulted and forcibly pushed off an elevator by another guest that for some reason decided he and his wife would ride alone despite there being ample space. Less than a minute after this happened a staff member walked by and I described to her what happened and requested to file a police report. Her indifference was staggering. She told me to take another elevator and if I wanted to file a report that was on me. She didn’t call security or do anything at all to assist. A few minutes later I reported the incident to the front desk. The first person I talked to seemed kind of indifferent but I guess spoke to a supervisor who stopped me and said he would look into it. A little while later he called and said the perpetrator had checked out so there was nothing they could do. He wouldn’t even tell me if they would ban the person from the property or report it to Hyatt. Of course the person was gone since the first staff member failed to lift a finger to help. This is a property I will avoid on future trips to Madrid.Show More

The atmosphere can feel quite crowded, especially in the lobby, but the fantastic rooftop bar more than makes up for it with stunning views and a great vibe. One downside is the lift situation: partly broken and very slow, which can be frustrating. That said, the rooms are super nice, clean, and comfortable, with amazing views over Madrid. Value is okay—it’s a bit expensive, but you’re really paying for the unbeatable location. Service throughout the stay was excellent, with staff who were attentive and professional. Overall, a stylish and central choice with a few quirks.Show More

The location was perfect for what we wanted to do, as it was centrally located and in most cases within walking distance to attractions, restaurants, entertainment and shopping. The hotel presented very well, as it was clean with well appointed rooms and amenities, and the restaurant offered ambiance with a fantastic view of Gran Via. The dinner menu had a nice selection to choose from, as well as the breakfast buffet which offered a variety of fresh, healthy options. We never made it to the rooftop bar because it rain most of the evenings, but I'm sure it was just as nice.Show More
