The first night when returning from a days worth of excursions, there we...I booked 2 rooms for a total of 4 nights and have booked with Hyatt previously. I have never been as disappointed as this stay. The first night when returning from a days worth of excursions, there were no parking spots available. When I got out to ask front staff, they said they had an event going on and didn’t expect the lot to be full. They said that it will be at least another 2 hours until they think it will start to clear out. It was already 7:30pm. He said sorry but there’s nothing I can do. He did not offer a solution and essentially told me to figure it out. We left the property to wait for it to clear and came back to unserviced rooms, we called the front desk and to ask for towels to be brought up. The same receptionist informed us he cannot come up since he is the only one at the desk, but “you are welcome to come to the front desk” which we did. We also asked him to service the room the next day for BOTH rooms and we also confirmed with morning staff at the front desk the next morning to service BOTH rooms. We come back to find that only ONE room was serviced. We asked the night receptionist (who happened to be the same receptionist working the night before) why was only one serviced when we requested both, he said he didn’t know and apologized and said he would talk to housekeeping the day after to have both rooms serviced. We confirmed again that we indeed asked for both rooms, confirmed we do not have “do not disturb” signs on, and would be out of the room in a timely manner. He confirmed he will talk to them “first thing in the morning” to have BOTH rooms serviced. We come back to the rooms and BOTH rooms were NOT serviced. We again had to come back down to ask for fresh towels. There was no communication between staff members, I would be more understandable after the first night that only one room was serviced, but for a room to go unserviced for the entirety of the 4 night stay for no reason given other than “I don’t know, but I will relay the message” is unacceptable. I had forgotten my credit card a...When I arrived to check in, the man at the front desk (who I later realized was the supervisor) was incredibly unwelcoming and made me feel awful right from the start. I had forgotten my credit card at home, not realizing I needed the physical card since I had used my debit/visa to reserve the room. From the moment I started checking in, he questioned me, asking things like “just one person for a two-queen room?” in a very judgmental tone. When my payment didn’t go through, I tried again, and that’s when he curtly told me it had to be a credit card. I tried asking him a few questions to better understand the policy, but instead of offering help, he was extremely rude, just shaking his head and repeating “you need the actual card.” Then, while I was still trying to sort things out, he simply just walked away. Because I couldn’t cancel the room without losing my money, I had to drive 30 minutes home to get my card and then 30 minutes back again, making it almost a 2 hour process of getting to the hotel. only to face the same person at the desk. His only comment when I returned was, “Figured it out?” with the same dismissive attitude. I completely understand it was my mistake forgetting my card, but the way he treated me was unacceptable, especially from someone in a supervisor role. A little empathy and basic courtesy go a long way, and unfortunately, that was completely lacking here.Show More

However, the user experience is best described as clunky and odd. Three issues we encountered: The breakfast room feels like a corral. It's too small for purpose and the management insists on not taking food to your room. We watched a family try to take some up to a family member and get told no. This seems extremely weird since the breakfast is just eggs from a bag and usual breakfast room items. It also amplifies the overcrowded feel. Loosen up! Rooms were fine, but walls were paper thin also. I could hear next door conversations at level, even in a high floor room a few bucks more with the intention to not get this experience! We asked about the pool and check-in says it's been under construction or renos for about two years. I asked why is it two years and she just kinda shrugged her shoulders. Some service was great and others were kind of like this ( not my problem) which contributes to a general lack of atmosphere that other hotels often have more of. Desk staff did apply a discount so they seem to be aware, but I'd still rather stay somewhere else next time.Show More

However, I wanted to share one challenge we faced — there was no microwave in our room or on the floor where we were staying. I have a 2-year-old daughter who wakes up a few times at night for warm milk, and it became quite inconvenient to take the elevator to another floor each time just to use the microwave. Having a microwave either in the room or available on every floor would make the stay much more comfortable for families with young children.Show More
