It began with the room I booked. The website proudly displayed a lush green lawn facing the ocean, but the reality was nothing close — a wall view, no open horizon, no tranquility, just a sense of being misled. Then came the restaurant experience. I asked the staff for a recommendation for a creamy pasta. I was confidently told to try the Penne. What arrived was plain Penne — no cream, no milk, no cheese, not even flavor. My appetite was gone. I paid, left the restaurant, and asked the staff to deliver my child’s pizza to our room. After waiting four hours for our room change, I asked for the pizza to be sent to the new room. Two hours later, nothing arrived — turns out, the room boy forgot. Thirty minutes later they brought us a new pizza, but of course, my child had already lost their appetite. And for all this — the misleading advertisement, the lack of service, the forgotten order — the hotel offered me a discount as a form of apology. In other words, to experience their “best service,” I was expected to pay again — at a reduced rate. I can’t help but wonder: is this a new marketing strategy? Turning disappointment into a promotional opportunity? No discount can redeem the loss of trust and dignity. Hyatt’s tagline reads, “We care for people so they can be their best.” But from what I experienced, they seem to care more about appearances than authenticity, and more about revenue than reputation. This review isn’t about anger — it’s about principle. Guests deserve honesty. Because once integrity is lost, no brand, no star rating, and no price reduction can ever bring it back.Show More

You are greeted with an unforgettable welcome from attentive staff, and the check-in process could not be smoother. The room still feels freshly renovated and consists of ample storage space and breathtaking views of jungle-like gardens. It was also spotlessly clean and very well-maintained. The hotel boasts extraordinary facilities for kids and adults alike. The hotel gardens themselves offer a great opportunity to walk around the property (you can also visit Andaz next door), while multiple bars and restaurants provide a place to relax. There is also a well-equipped gym and somewhat secluded adult-only pool in the spa area. The hotel has direct access to a quiet beach, while busier parts of Sanur can be reached via boardwalk. Every day, some activities are organised on-site, while bikes can be rented to better explore the area. Breakfast is also totally worth it, with a very good selection available. The main highlight of the experience are the staff members, who always greet you with a smile on their face, while working hard to make sure that your stay is as enjoyable as possible.Show More

The 4 nights was a perfect amount of time to relax and unwind and indulge in all the hotel had to offer. The staff were kind, attentive and always willing to help, which made our stay feel extra special. As we were celebrating a special birthday, we received a complimentary upgrade to an amazing Suite. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained and so lush. The buffet breakfast was another highlight and an enormous range of food to choose from. The Wellness area was a favourite with incredible treatments at the spa and the hydrotherapy area is amazing and complimentary use for all guests with a hot & cold plunge pool, steam room and sauna. We used this each day. We left feeling refreshed and grateful. Highly recommended.Show More

Unfortunately, this did change my experience from what I expected of a 5-star luxury stay to something that at times felt more like a theme or water park. There’s really no escaping the noise — from pool games and water aerobics to the constant buzz of children and floaties — which can be a distraction if you’re seeking peace and quiet. For families, this place is absolute gold. For those without children looking for a more tranquil escape around the pool or even on the beach (where the noise carries), I’d recommend looking elsewhere.Show More
