It is a shame, I used to love this hotel and has been our go to in Chicago for years now. I made a human mistake by paying for the wrong weekend, as soon as I noticed it my husband and I contacted the hotel and the Hyatt staff and the service was not only awful but they just said they were not going to adjust the reservation. I'm talking about changing the reservation for the following weekend, even being flexible with the dates and with more than one month notice!! I was trying to do something super nice, this was a surprise for my husband who's brother is coming to US after 4 years of not seeing each other, this was supposed to be an amazing surprise for them to have a good time in Chicago and then get us all together in our home in Indiana. This experience it's absolutely frustrating but also disappointing, the staff isn't what it used to be and seem they don't care about their customers anymore. Neven going back to this hotel, they don't care about customers experience.

4/10 This was our wedding hotel and it was disappointing, we will not return.
I liked that it was downtown and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was very nice.

10/10 Wonderful Experience all around
Our stay was wonderful. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, bars and restaurants available at the hotel were amazing with some great views of the city at Big Bar! Our room was so modern and big. Bathroom was nice and the bed was comfortable. There was a couch to lounge on as well ! The valet parking was outstanding and accommodating ! These guys were a joy !
The location is perfect right by Michigan avenue and across from the River. Walking distance to a lot of main attractions , shopping and restaurants! Highly recommend and will absolutely stay here again!

The location of this hotel is excellent. You can explore the city easily from this location. The hotel is very modern and extremely clean. I loved the open plan design. Bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. We had breakfast included in our stay and the buffet breakfast was so enjoyable .

9/10 It was a perfect stay, way beyond what we expected.
The location is superb. It's just located on the riverwalk and all main attractions are within the proximity. The hotel has many establishments in it (restaurants, coffee shop) and staff is very friendly.

8/10 Comfortable Stay and Great location
Went for a business conference but brought family since it was spring break. Hotel is very comfortable and clean, check was easy, friendly staff and got an upgraded river view which was excellent because we were there for the dyeing of the river! Location is excellent on the river and right off all the shopping on Michigan Ave.

10/10 Was An Amazing Mini Vacation
Brought my 5 year old grandson to Chicago for St. Patrick's Weekend (he wanted to see the river turn green). We were upgraded to a high level river view and had front row for the experience and it did not disappoint. The location can't be beat for getting around to most area attractions. We love this hotel and we will be back.

10/10 St. Patrick's day Celebration
This hotel is located downtown, and within walking distance of everything. Located across the street from the riverwalk. Great view to see to river turn green. Breakfast buffet was great. Bar stays open til 1a. The steakhouse was delicious. Overalls great experience. We definitely return again.

The Hyatt Regency in downtown Chicago is our favorite hotel to stay at when visiting the city. The hotel is centrally located, has excellent facilities, a very welcoming staff and comfortable rooms. We always recommend to friends visiting Chicago to stay at the hotel.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, the bed was extremely comfortable, it had 3 great restaurants on site, and the staff was extremely friendly and made our check in super smooth. It was walking distance to almost all of our plans.
