The standout feature was the clever room divider with large TVs mounted on both sides—genuinely functional for separating work and relaxation areas. Design enthusiasts will appreciate the Eames-style lounge chair and ottoman. The padded window seating provided unobstructed views of the iconic Margaret McDermott Bridge and Trinity River, particularly stunning at golden hour. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotless with one minor exception: etching on window tint that didn't impact the experience. Service: Warm, efficient welcome from valet through front desk made arrival seamless. The team clearly prioritizes guest experience from first impression onward. Quiet Despite Size: This large convention hotel maintains peaceful spaces. Hallways and rooms are well-insulated—you won't hear conference noise or street traffic. Amenities That Deliver: Digital key, in-room Chromecast, and premium internet. No hassles, no surprises—exactly what you want from a hotel. Location: Adjacent to I-30 and I-35 for easy Dallas navigation. Not too pedestrian-friendly (it's Texas), but quick drives to Dallas Holocaust Museum, AT&T Discovery District, and Dallas Farmers Market—Hurtado BBQ is a must-visit. Choosing Between Dallas Hyatts: Dallas offers two main Hyatt options—this property and Thompson Dallas. The Thompson provides intimate, upscale boutique vibes; the Regency delivers full-service convention hotel reliability. Both excel at different experiences. Get the king size bed rooms because they have the most comfortable leather recliner seats anywhere , I would stay here just to sit in them and listen and watch the Hyatt programming on the TV’s - zone out relax in total bliss. The check-in staff were friendly & helpful but the service went downhill from there. The food in the hotel restaurant (Centennial) was delicious BUT if the hotel's occupancy isn't enough, they simply CANCEL the breakfast buffet. I've been to Holiday Inn Express' before & they always offered a hot buffet regardless if there were two people staying at the hotel or 200 people. I require a lot of protein for breakfast so when I asked to swap out the meat for an extra egg first I was denied, the second day I was told it would cost $5! If the hotel isn't going to offer a buffet to where I can eat as much as I want for $25, don't try to charge me a buffet price for a single omelette. The parking fees are a little steep at $30/day for self-parking located about 300 feet downhill from the entrance. Valet parking is $45/day. The gym is nice as far as most of the equipment. They do have a Peloton bike but the seat slid back while riding unless you really tightened the seat both before and during your ride. The equipment could use some lubrication. The view on my ride the second day consisted of a garbage can placed directly in front of the window on the outside roof terrace almost as if to taunt me to ride until I barfed (haha). My King room was spacious & clean. I was happy they provided a makeup mirror but unfortunately, the light it provides is so dim. I ended up reverting to my own that I always bring with me. The hotel is in a central location & is convenient to get wherever you have to go. I had to travel to Ft. Worth & Terrell several times. The traffic can be a pain but it's to be expected for a major city hub. I would stay at this hotel again, IF the service improves.Show More

From ensuring our suite was ready for an early check-in to preparing special amenities, offering thoughtful recommendations for local attractions and dining, and even taking time to connect with us despite her busy schedule — each gesture reflected her dedication to guest care. Akiyah was our front desk attendant for both check-in and check-out. She was very welcoming and echoed what we already knew about the special connection Michelle shares with her team. Very professional with an efficient yet unrushed demeanor that was very much appreciated given how busy the hotel can be! The room was exceptionally clean with a fantastic housekeeping staff. Incredible value at this property within walking distance to major Dallas attractions, especially JFK 6th Floor Museum. A quick Uber ride away to some of the best BBQ we've ever had! Busy with events, so planning ahead on parking is important. The hotel offered great advance communication on parking so there were no surprises. While we were sad to depart, we were even more thrilled to have had the experience in the first place. Thank you for helping make our visit so memorable.Show More
