Had a little hiccup with first room. Bed was extremely uncomfortable so did not sleep at all first night. Got up at 7am to change room. At first they were accommodating but soon after they called and ...Had a little hiccup with first room. Bed was extremely uncomfortable so did not sleep at all first night. Got up at 7am to change room. At first they were accommodating but soon after they called and said could no longer offer me the room they showed me because it was reserved for guest arriving the following day. Things went downhill after that until another mgr saved the day. He sent me to eat, got me a new room with a new mattress AND accompanied me to the room to ensure everything was to my liking. The hotel was extremely busy with conferences and the Essence Festival coming, but he did all this with a smile on his face (unlike the first manager). Wow! I was blown away. They are my only stay when I return to NOLA. 😍❤️Show More

We were in the room maybe 30 minutes and then the alarm was going off to exit the building a fire was detected do not use the elevator so we had to cli...We checked in and went to our room all was good. We were in the room maybe 30 minutes and then the alarm was going off to exit the building a fire was detected do not use the elevator so we had to climb 24 flights of stairs get to the bottom and the staff is inside checking in people and it was like nothing happened so we asked what happened and the lady said it was just a faulty alarm no worries.NO WORRIES i just. Limbed 24 flights of stairs for no damn reason! Then the bed was insanely uncomfortable. We told them at check out about the issue with her stay and the guy seem to not even care one bit. Will not stay here again!Show More

The hotel is clean inside and out. This is a good area if you like downtown and the convince of catching a car, bus, or even walk because everything is in close distance. The food at the restaurants are good and so are the restaurants outside of the hotel. The only reason I did not give the hotel a 5/5 is because the water pressure is so low and it also takes awhile for the water to get warm. We did have a quick power outage but the hotel did send out an apology for inconvenience which was considerate.Show More
