The structure is great, espec...Everything Hyatt has. It might be long, but I will write anyway. First of all, Hyatt is excellent not just because of the structure, but mainly because of their staff. The structure is great, especially because it is a resort in the middle of a big city. It has trees and a beautiful environment with a view of the volcano Merapi! INCREDIBLE. You can even contemplate the sunset from there. But what I want to highlight is the staff — from the guy who communicated with me, Tom (sadly I didn’t meet him in person), that was very honesty to say point out before my coming that they had part under renovation what, by the way, never bothered us at all, to the staff in the spa, pool, reception, and the wonderful people in the restaurant. The best thing about Hyatt is their staff! I have been in several hotels (including other Hyatts), and both my wife and I agree that the Hyatt in Yogyakarta has the best staff I have ever met. They are not just professionals — they really smile at you and welcome you (not a fake smile though). From the guy who took our luggage (Pak Rudi), to the receptionist (Kevin), and several other people whose names I don’t remember, to the guys in the spa — great massages, by the way — Siarif, Wildade, Yawon; and to the people in the restaurant — Ibu Sri, Adil, Sugeng, Peni, Dimas, and many others whose names I sadly don’t remember. I just want whoever reads this to know that they have great people — professional and kind — to take care of your needs. The pool and slide are amazing for the kids, the spa with the jacuzzi, sauna, cold pool, and massage is great, the environment is warm, and the food is amazing — SUCH AN AMAZING BREAKFAST!! Not sure what else to say besides that the Hyatt is my and my family’s favorite hotel ever.Show More

Even though this hotel could be considered a bit “old” compared to its competitors, it still has several great points — especially the outdoor areas, where you can explore a lot of things. Some parts are under renovation, but everything else is just fine. The staff are also very friendly. I got lost while exploring the hotel and ended up stuck at the gym because it was raining and I couldn’t get back to my room. But when I called the hotel staff to ask for help bringing an umbrella, they responded very quickly. I also really like the hotel’s clubhouse — I was warmly welcomed there, especially by Ms. Mel. It feels very homey, and it’s one of the places where I spent most of my time at night. I love this hotel! I’d definitely recommend it for people traveling with their families. But even if you’re traveling solo and want something that “feels like Bali,” this is still a great place for a short escape.Show More

We have several works ongoing in limited part of the building and guest elevators. The swimming pool area and other recreational facilities will remain open for guests’ use, however intermittent noise may be experienced. Please rest assured that every effort will be made to minimize any inconvenience during this time and any noisy work will be limited to Mondays to Sundays, from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM. Early check in starting from 09:01 until 14:00 will incur nominal additional charge at 25% from the standard room rate. Early check in starting from 6:01 until 09:00 WIB will be charged 50% from the standard room rates. Early check in before 6:00 will be charged the full 1-night room rate.
