From the moment we walked in, you could feel the elegance and history — the lobby is tasteful and welcoming, with grand crystal chandeliers and a refined, calm atmosphere. 
Our room was excellent: comfortable bed, very good air conditioning, and a modern, well-designed bathroom. Some of the premium rooms have views of the park, which is absolutely stunning!
Breakfast was a real treat. There’s a big buffet plus à la carte choices, and the quality rivals that of some of the top hotels in Asia, according to other guests. The hotel staff were friendly, attentive, and seemed genuinely invested in making our stay special — we even got a small upgrade as a birthday surprise, which was very thoughtful. 
One of the most memorable parts was the afternoon tea in the Wellington Lounge: a beautifully refined setting with a regal touch.  Also, dining at Theo Randall restaurant (the hotel’s Italian spot) was top-notch — rustic, refined food with excellent ingredients. 
The Club InterContinental lounge is a real gem: all-day refreshments, good breakfast, evening canapés — a lovely retreat after a day out in London. 
Location-wise, it couldn’t be better: you’re right next to Hyde Park and in the heart of Mayfair.  Whether you want to walk to Buckingham Palace, shop around or just enjoy the calm of the Royal Parks, it’s super convenient.
Overall, this felt like a true 5-star stay: classic luxury, warm service, and a very central but refined London experience. Highly recommend it if you want sophistication + location + a polished, historic feel.Show More
