We were visiting Montreal for our 50th Wedding Anniversary Weekend Celebration. this hotel has an excellent location in OLD TOWN MONTREAL. Makes walking to all Old Town attractions easy. These is ...We were visiting Montreal for our 50th Wedding Anniversary Weekend Celebration. this hotel has an excellent location in OLD TOWN MONTREAL. Makes walking to all Old Town attractions easy. These is also a subway station in the lower floor of the hotel. We attended a Keith Urban Concert at Bell Center.....walkable or take the subway! The quest rooms are well appointed .....very clean. We felt safe at all times. Both French and English is spoken by all the hotel staff. We want to send a special "Thank You" to Mr. Michael Anderson.....he was extremely helpful and he help make our 50th Anniversary stay at the hotel extra special. We will return to this hotel and we will tell all our friends and family to stay here. The breakfast buffet is excellent . They offer a beautiful indoor pool, exercise area spa. The bed in the guest room was amazing......we both slept extremely well. I highly recommend this hotel! The Montreal Botanical Gardens are located only a short UBER drive from the hotel.....this garden is worth visiting! This was the first visit to Montreal....we will return !Show More

I love Intercontinental hotels but not coming back to this location. I frequently visit Montreal and am gonna stick to the Hyatt Centric, Le German, Alt, or the W. Here was my experience: - Arrived ...I love Intercontinental hotels but not coming back to this location. I frequently visit Montreal and am gonna stick to the Hyatt Centric, Le German, Alt, or the W. Here was my experience: - Arrived at the hotel around 18:45 on a Wednesday evening. Waited 15 mins to get a room but I don’t know why since they didn’t communicate except for saying Sorry once. - I paid for a Premium room and got assigned one on the 13th floor. - No mention of room upgrade (I am platinum elite) or lack of it due to unavailability. - The room was next to a noisy elevator so couldn’t sleep well since I am a light sleeper. - The room and the bathroom are very old school and not renovated. - If you are not tiny the shower stall is uncomfortably small. Overall a poor experience and like I said earlier going to stick to Hyatt Centric, Le German, Alt, or the W. FWIW, Hyatt has been amazing with status recognition in Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto.Show More

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and our room was both spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent, offering easy access to many of Montreal’s main attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. A special mention to the front desk agents, Jassem and Mariem, who were truly outstanding. They were warm, professional, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Their hospitality left a lasting impression and made us feel very welcome. If there is one suggestion for improvement, it would be to consider updating certain areas of the hotel to reflect a more modern style. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly return on our next visit to Montreal.Show More
