I arrived at the hotel on November 8th to attend the American Heart Association conference and had a very busy schedule. I checked in a little after 4:00 PM, but I was told that my room was not ready....I arrived at the hotel on November 8th to attend the American Heart Association conference and had a very busy schedule. I checked in a little after 4:00 PM, but I was told that my room was not ready. I left my bag at the front desk and went to my meeting. When I returned at 6:10 PM, I went back to the front desk, where a new employee (a woman with long black hair on the right side of the desk) was present. She immediately began raising her voice and telling me she had no idea when the room would be ready. I simply asked for an approximate time, but she held her head, started shouting, and mocked me by turning to her colleagues. She then told me to cancel my booking and find another hotel. I stepped away to the lobby to check availability elsewhere. Shortly after, I received a call from the hotel informing me that my room was ready, directly contradicting what the employee had said. I kept the call on speaker and returned to the front desk, where another staff member kindly assisted me and provided the room without issue. I am extremely surprised and disappointed by the behavior of your employee. Asking a guest to leave and cancel a reservation is unacceptable. After this experience, I will never stay at an InterContinental Hotel again.Show More

The room was a bit worn with old-fashioned but stylish furniture, and it somehow added a certain charm and atmosphere. It was very spacious, more like a small apartment, with a corridor, a large bedroom, a proper bathroom, and a small area with a vanity and sink. The pool area is nice, and the water temperature was comfortable. I also appreciated the fresh fruits and the water cooler in the gym.Show More
