Our second stay at the JW Marriott, and the one thing I liked was the extensive/massive amount of thoughtful welcome amenities provided by the hotel: Cookies from the bakery (BBCO), chips, a large pla...Our second stay at the JW Marriott, and the one thing I liked was the extensive/massive amount of thoughtful welcome amenities provided by the hotel: Cookies from the bakery (BBCO), chips, a large plate of welcome fruits, and chocolate (all tailored to our preferences). Our room was also very nicely decorated. We were assigned a spacious suite on the 19th floor which provided the same view as the hotel lobby. This meant that the room is quieter, as it is not facing Nana plaza (rooms on the other side of the hotel - behind the lobby - provide a view of Nana plaza and the surrounding neighbourhood). However, the view is overall less flashy/bright. What I liked about the suite was that there were lots and lots of couches (at least 3). So, there is plenty of space to sit. The bedroom couch was extremely comfortable too. I also thought that the light switches were very user-friendly. I liked that there was a master switch that turns of all the lights in the room except for the lights in the toilet. Another thing is that the toilet doesn't have the transparent glass wall that is common in many modern hotels . This means that leaving the toilet light on will not affect your sleep, this also allows you to walk to the toilet without bumping into things (if you need to use it at night) Lounge food was very nice, and I thought that the food on our final night was fabulous, with Unagi slices , fried enoki mushrooms , beef balls, and turkey. They also have a wide selection of tea and all-day snacks. Staff were on the whole very friendly and cleaning staff also left us tiny Thai elephants as a small turndown gift. Breakfast at JW Cafe was very extensive, there were plenty of options to choose from, and they also had ice cream, which is not common in hotels. The guest-relations manager, Tawan, also met us at least 3 times during our stay to ensure that everything was perfect. We are also very grateful that he helped to solve a misunderstanding that happened at the hotel. Overall, a fantastic hotel with friendly staff that can provide very outstanding and personalised service. We will definitely return if we go back to Bangkok for our holidayShow More

Under the guidance of Area General Manager Peter Caprez, the entire team operates with a level of professionalism, warmth, and genuine care that elevates every aspect of the stay. Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly, attentive, and remarkably efficient. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the service was delivered with the natural graciousness that makes Thai hospitality so special. Whether at reception, concierge, restaurants, or housekeeping, the consistency of service truly reflects the strength of the hotel’s leadership and training. A real highlight of the stay was the New York Steakhouse, which continues to set the benchmark for premium dining in Bangkok. The atmosphere is elegant with a great sense of occasion, the menu is superb, and the steaks are prepared with absolute precision. Combined with knowledgeable service and impeccable wine recommendations, it made for an exceptional dining experience. Overall, the JW Marriott Bangkok delivers comfort, outstanding cuisine, and a level of service that feels genuinely personal. But for me, the JW Marriott Bangkok will always be special. Every time I come back, it truly feels like coming home. The staff here treat you like family. No request is ever too small or too big, and you can really feel that they care. It’s the little things that make such a big difference — and that’s what sets the JW apart and keeps me coming back. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and always spotless. The food is amazing — whether it’s the delicious breakfast buffet, fresh sushi, or a drink at the Manhattan Bar, everything is top-notch. And I have to mention some of the new team members like Tawan, who’s already making a wonderful impression and helping make this hotel even better. What I love most is how the staff remember you each time you walk through the door. It’s not just great service — it’s genuine warmth. With its unbeatable location right in the center of everything, the JW Marriott Bangkok really has it all: great rooms, great food, and truly great people. My first interaction was with Khun May, who approached with a warm greeting and a genuine smile. The lounge was busy at the time, yet she still found a comfortable table, checked that everything suited me, and handled my order with clear knowledge of the drinks and recommendations available. Her communication was calm, polite, and reassuring, which set a strong tone for the stay. What stood out most was her service mindset. She watched the room closely, anticipated needs without interruption, and followed up more than once to ensure that everything was correct. That level of care made me feel welcomed as a returning guest even though it was my first visit. She is the main reason I would choose JW Marriott again. I would also like to thank her colleagues Khun Foam, Khun Non, Khun Tukta, Khun Cha, and the rest of the team whose names I cannot remember.
