Quel plaisir de diner avec cette vue magnifique, c'est un moment en apesanteur, un moment hors du temps, un cadre magnifique et des étoiles plein les yeux. Le temps gris et pluvieux a, quant à lui, embelli ce séjour. (Oui la pluie a, elle aussi, quelque chose de charmant dans ce cadre somptueux). Le pont éclairé de nuit est un atout indéniable. Concernant les espaces communs, les lieux sont propres et entretenus avec soin. Les sanitaires sont agréables. (pour les touristes occidentaux : pensez à fermer les fenêtres lorsque vous sortez des bains, il s'agit d'espaces communs et partagés). La cuisine commune permet de cuisiner et de conserver de nombreuses denrées alimentaires. Encore une fois, l'espace est propre et soigné. Le personnel : adorable.Show More

Onsen was wonderful, both the public one and the private ones. Room had a fridge for snacks and enough outlets for one person, and I enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the river. It was impeccably clean, but naturally there is some wear and tear due to the building's age - I didn't mind it at all. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I also appreciated the complimentary ear plugs in the room! I had brought my own but it's a nice gesture since the walls are thin and the building creaks and groans. It was nice to have plenty of space to hold my luggage and stretch out on the tatami when compared to business hotels! Location was great close to the station, and there were lots of restaurants and a konbini nearby and a big grocery store next to the station.Show More

Our room was clean, spacious, and peaceful, and the shared areas were welcoming and thoughtfully maintained. The private onsen baths were a real highlight — perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location couldn’t be better — a short walk from the station, close to the river and local restaurants. It’s a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend K’s House Ito to anyone visiting the Izu Peninsula.Show More

A wonderful historic building positioned right on the river made for some fantastic night walks. The staff are friendly and helpful and did a lot to put us at ease for our first stay in a ryokan. Everything was explained clearly and all of our questions were answered concisely. We really appreciated the meal recommendations, as we had the most delicious food during our stay. The private onsen was the highlight of the stay - we took the opportunity to use this every night as it is great for soothing overworked muscles that have been out exploring all day It is in easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants and is close to the sea as well. We drove to get here, but the train station is also close by.Show More
