A week out from the booking, I was going over ...I cannot recommend this property enough for your stay on PEI. I booked my room almost a year in advance planning for this trip (Big Anne fans over here!) A week out from the booking, I was going over the itinerary and needed to make a change due to a mistake on my part. I called to make that change (which they were willing to accommodate), only to find out our family of 4 couldn’t stay in the inn as we had planned (max capacity of 3). I sadly had to cancel the reservation. As I began researching other options, I thought. “I’ll email them about being on a cancellation list” as they were booked. Within 10 mins of sending that email, I received a response that although the cottages were full, they had a luxury apartment available during our time, and sent photos. I immediately accepted, as Charlottetown was a bit too far, and our reason for coming was Anne of Green Gables. The other surrounding properties didn’t seem up to our standards.
Let me say- the apartment was top notch! Newly renovated, you are over the garage where they do bike rentals etc. There was a bit of noise during the day, but we weren’t there much and it wasn’t bothersome when we were. Quiet at night. We overlooked the courtyard and the inn! We enjoyed the secret path to Green Gables, and it’s right on the golf course. It’s a short bike ride to Oceanside trails and the beach as well which we thoroughly enjoyed. Pool/hot tub was nice. Weather disrupted the next leg of our journey, and the wonderful staff at Kindred Spirits came through again, and extended our stay an additional 3 nights! So were able to avoid the bad weather except for our last day. Just an absolutely awesome place, with awesome people….and just by driving around, seems to be better kept than other options. You cannot choose better than the Kindred Spirits Inn!!Show More
