I was stuck in an elevator around 6:15am for 35 minutes, having issues with my heart and enclosed spaces, this was not a very uncomfortable for my 74 year old body. After having to deal with this sit...I was stuck in an elevator around 6:15am for 35 minutes, having issues with my heart and enclosed spaces, this was not a very uncomfortable for my 74 year old body. After having to deal with this situation made me feel very nervous and unsteady. After finally being let out, I was very unstable, dizzy and my heart was racing. Everyone started to leave me, but I asked if I could at least get a chair to sit in, after finding a elevated chair at one of the tables, I sat, but still felt that I could fall off that type of chair. I was told that I could find an enclosed chair up at the bar area, but did not feel that I could walk that far without falling...they did not offer to get the chair for me. I finally had to ask for wheelchair which they eventually found me. After sitting there for around 10 minutes I asked them to call someone to have my vitals checked since I was still not feeling well. I was told there is no one available, after some persistance they called over someone from another hotel to check my vitals. BP after 20 minutes was 151/101 which was very high for me. I finally asked them to wheel me back up to my room 12031 which they did. After getting into the room I told my wife what happened and was given something for anxiety and spent the rest of the day feeling nauseous and weak. We did get out, but the rest of the days plans were ruined due to the elevator issue. I do not feel anyone involved wanted to stick around and make sure I was ok or ready to resume normal activities. I should not have had to ask to be check out or ask for a wheel chair under the circumstances that I had just gone through. I have electrical heart issues which I am sure were affected by this experience. I loved everything else about the hotel stay. I did talk to the hotel manager later in the afternoon and she was very understanding, but she could not b believe that the people involved did not fill out a report about what happened. I saw the report in the guys clipboard, but he only took my name and room number. Fortunately, everything turned out ok, but could have ended up with a different result. There should have been emergency care given to me, without asking, or any other person who stays in your hotel. Management needs to look at this and make sure procedures are in place for any other type of situations that could happen again...I was blessed, this time!Show More

On arrival we ...This hotel is an absolute rip off. We chose the Linq as my husband and I got married here in 2000 when it was the imperial palace so we wanted the nostalgia of this particular hotel. On arrival we checked ourselves in, we paid another 40 dollars for a city view thinking it would be the strip but no it was a view of half of the high roller out the back of the hotel so that was a con. We then realised that the room we upgraded to didn’t even have a coffee machine and we had just driven from Williams Arizona so a coffee would of been nice, so we rang guest services to be told it was 10 dollars for coffee facilities, it’s an absolute joke, coffee machines are just basic items when paying over 240 pound for a hotel. Stupidly we bought 2 coffees from the reception area costing us 17 dollars for 2 coffees absolute rip off. We then went to “off the strip” in the hotel for a drink and the young girl behind the bar was surly and I was under the impression she thought she was a cut above us and that she was something special when she literally and without exaggeration flung the drinks menu at us, my husband and I just looked at each other in disbelief and left thinking we would take our business elsewhere where we would be more welcome than being looked down at by some snotty little madam. We left the hotel after our stay disappointed after our 25th wedding anniversary celebrations and I’ve found a transaction on our bank statement which I’ve queried and apparently they are “resort fees” so the 240 pound charges for the hotel room isn’t enough for these greedy people they also sneakily charge a resort fee too over $100 dollars and $20 per night parking fees. Honestly go elsewhere absolutely nothing at all special about this hotel they just love ripping you off and including “hidden fees” Like I say it was our silver anniversary and I feel we’ve been robbed. 2 stars for location ! Having stayed at this property twice when it was the Imperial Palace (once in the late 80's and again in 2001) I had low expectations, but the newer Linq Promenade has been a fun area on the Strip, so...Having stayed at this property twice when it was the Imperial Palace (once in the late 80's and again in 2001) I had low expectations, but the newer Linq Promenade has been a fun area on the Strip, so we gave the renovated IP (The Linq) a try. First off, the parking was a horrible experience. Difficult to locate, hard to navigate, filthy, and super expensive. The check-in process was not working properly. We checked in on our phone with the link sent by the hotel in advance, assuming we only had to pick up our room keys at a kiosk. That was not the case. We had to re-check in at the kiosk, which then prompted us to see a registration attendant (waited in the regular check-in line for that). Finally got the room keys. The room was nothing special. Zero view. Actually looked out the window at the concrete side of another structure. Bathroom lights kept going out because the breaker kept tripping (nothing plugged in to the sockets). Carpet wasn't very clean. Used the phone app for express check-out and left our room key in the room...didn't realized they were needed for exiting the garage...didn't receive an email showing that we checked out, so had to pay to get out of the garage, and the parking fee was taken out of the incidental charge. Called this morning and requested a copy of our bill, which was emailed, but when I asked about refunding the parking fee, was told that I needed to provide the card number used to exit and they would refund that fee instead of just removing the fee from the bill. Anyway, short version is that the Ceasars literally just put lipstick on the proverbial pig when they "rebranded" the old IP into the new Linq. Will not return.Show More

One morning, someone randomly walked in to our room, even though the DND sign was on the door. I’m a light sleeper, so I said loudly ‘excuse me, what are you doing’ and because the door is round a little corner from the bed, before I could get out of bed to see who it was, they left. There was 1 housekeeping cart in the hall, but wayyyyyy down. Our room was in the middle of the floor. It makes no sense. I complained to front desk and they couldn’t have cared less. No joke. I feel like if it was housekeeping, they could have announced themselves or said ‘I’m so sorry, I made a mistake”. In every other hotel I’ve stayed at, they knock first. Secondly, when we checked out, we left our bags with the bell desk. I left a few things last minute and in the elevator on the way down, I was faffing about as I realised I hadn’t locked my case. I had some issues with locking it on the move but locked it When we picked the bags up, we were in a rush. Caught an uber and when we got the the airport, I realised that the lock had been opened and my case gone through. Important to note, that nothing appears to have been taken, but the general arrangement of my case, had been rearranged. Most notably our passports being interlocked and moved, when I know exactly how I left them. I feel like someone was probably looking for money, but nevertheless, it’s my stuff and someone had been through my case. I like to feel safe on vacation and both of the above ruined it for me.Show More
