The hotel is actually nearer to Kilburn side rather than the name suggested Maida Vale area. The location of the hotel is not very convenient if you need to get to London City area like Covent Garden...The hotel is actually nearer to Kilburn side rather than the name suggested Maida Vale area. The location of the hotel is not very convenient if you need to get to London City area like Covent Garden or go to King’s Cross station. The hotel nearest underground station is Kilburn Park and it is not exactly near the hotel as you will have to cross 2 junctions to get there. Also to get to the City Center, there’s no direct underground train and you will need to change at Paddington or Embankment station. The trips will take at least 50mins. Finally, the hotel is unable to store big luggage for more than 24 hours (if u need a place to store them when u made short trips out of London, like to go to Edinburgh) due to limited space as claimed by the hotel staff. We found it very inconvenient!Show More

I checked into the hotel and suffered an injury within a couple of days of my trip. I sustained cuts to my forehead and chin, as well as injuring my knee, in addition to bruising across my body due to...I checked into the hotel and suffered an injury within a couple of days of my trip. I sustained cuts to my forehead and chin, as well as injuring my knee, in addition to bruising across my body due to a slip and fall. When I reached the hotel lobby, I was left unattended by the night shift manager, who continued to check in guests despite my repeated requests for assistance. I was not attended to for another 15 minutes, until a security guard finally helped me. Despite my persistent requests, an ambulance was not called immediately, and I was left unattended. The behaviour of the staff was extremely unprofessional and casual, given the severity of my injury (photos attached). The management checked on me for a couple of days and promised to follow up, but I haven't heard from them since. I'm extremely disappointed in the hotel's response, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone due to the unprofessional and inhumane treatment I received. I expected a better standard of care and response from the hotel management, particularly given the severity of my injuries. Their attitude towards clients and their well-being is clearly lacking. I'm extremely saddened and disappointed by their behaviour. Still haven't been contacted by the GM after several email exchanges with the Operations Manager, haven't been updated on how they will manage such cases in future and how they train the employees on clientelling, haven't received any video footage of the incident i requested. No one followed up to check if I have been okay, or if I need anything when mentioned this to Operations Manager i was told we check on you if and when we see you in the lobby. Very disappointed by Marriott thats a global chain. Me and management of our company has already told the employees not to refer this to any upcoming visitors as we have a lot that visit London from all over the world.Show More

We had a great stay in London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale! There are lots of great restaurants and parks in the immediate area and very close to the underground! All the staff were extremely pleasant ...We had a great stay in London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale! There are lots of great restaurants and parks in the immediate area and very close to the underground! All the staff were extremely pleasant and the accommodations were excellent. We had the pleasure of meeting the Front of House Manager Oualid during our visit who was very professional and helpful in providing guidance and tips for our stay. We visited the hotel's restaurant Carluccio's for breakfast before we departed, EXCELLENT! We had a great breakfast, there are a wide variety of delicious options and the dining staff was extremely pleasant. Highly Recommend This Property and look forward to visiting again the next time our travels bring us to London!Show More

The breakfast options were decent, but the restaurant Carluccio's food was average. The location of the hotel was good, there is a Tesco within walking distance as well as a few eateries. The neighborhood seemed safe to walk around during the day. All in all, an ok stay.Show More
