I arrived willing to leave my card on file for incidentals. Reception processed only the city tax and sent me on my way. Later, when I asked to unlock the minibar, I was told to come back down with th...I arrived willing to leave my card on file for incidentals. Reception processed only the city tax and sent me on my way. Later, when I asked to unlock the minibar, I was told to come back down with the card again as noone saved it on the file. The rest didn’t get better. There was a constant queue for the lift, and the corridors had an off, milk smell. In my room, basics were missing: no bottled water, a coffee machine with no pods, no conditioner or body lotion, and no iron available for me or any of my colleagues, despite multiple phone calls to the reception. Room service never answered. When I phoned reception, I was told to come downstairs myself because a colleague was “busy.” They said they’d call back and didn’t. I ended up ordering Bolt Food just to eat. What stung most was the tone—curt and unhelpful at every turn. Overall this fell far below the standard advertised. I wouldn’t return and can’t recommend it. Breakfast was the worse, I went to breakfast once, just to find a pubic hair in the food. Even without the pube the food looked uninvitingly gross.Show More
