There's not much to say, it's a normal Japanese budget hotel. A clean and fairly large room, tiny bathroom, comfortable bed and everything just works. The price per night was what I would expect fr...There's not much to say, it's a normal Japanese budget hotel. A clean and fairly large room, tiny bathroom, comfortable bed and everything just works. The price per night was what I would expect from a budget hotel in Japan. The location is quite good, Gojō Station is only a five minute walk away. Kyoto Station is a 20 minute walk away. I like to walk so I usually walked to Kyoto Station in the morning. There is a decent selection of restaurants within a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The southern end of Teramachi street with lots of shopping is only a 15-20 minute walk away.Show More

Rustig gelegen, en toch op loopafstand van het bruisende centrum van Kyoto én Kyoto Tower. De avondwinkel om de hoek is ook een fijne bonus voor een late snack of drankje. De kamer was, zeker voor Japanse begrippen, relatief ruim en prettig ingericht. Geen ontbijt inbegrepen, maar dat wisten we vooraf en je zit zo bij een bakker of convenience store. Handig: je kunt tegen betaling eerder of later in- en uitchecken, wat voor ons heel goed uitkwam. Een ideale uitvalsbasis voor een paar dagen Kyoto. Praktisch, rustig en comfortabel.Show More
