Aside from the Reception associate a...My family and I rented 3 rooms here on November 29, leaving on November 30. The room was fine, the Kalma restaurant was very good. It all fell apart at checkout. Aside from the Reception associate appearing as if she didn't want to be bothered checking me out, the van driver to the airport was horrible. We were part of a van group that included about 7 ladies, myself and my daughter (I am also a woman), and my 76 year old sister and her husband. We all had standard sized pieces of luggage that were difficult for all of us to get in the back of the van. The driver stood to the side with his arms crossed watching us all struggle. We'd try to put a suitcase in and it would slip out. We all looked to the driver to help us, but he just stood there with this arms crossed. I speak Spanish, and asked him why he wasn't helping us. He told me that SPANISH women didn't need help doing that and continued to rave at me. I got in the van ignoring him. My sister got on and later her husband (also 76). He was red in the face and couldn't talk for a few minutes. I was alarmed. He told me that the rest of the ladies were still trying to get their bags in with the driver looking on. So my brother-in-law, who has suffered a heart attack and has 2 cracked vertebrae put all the luggage up in the van. When we got to the airport, the driver again stood to the side while one other male passenger got ALL the luggage out. I received an email from Guest Services re how was our stay. I told them what happened, and asking for a reply. It's been two days, and I still have not heard back from them. Don't look for help from Guest Services if you have a problem.Show More

I asked the doorman why they did not use the other van which was parked 50’ away. He looked at me, shrugged, and pointed to the airport shuttle schedule.
