The most wonderful thing that made our stay at the Mandarin Oriental Jakarta great though was the very friendly, amazing, lovely & always smiling staff. They really made our stay very memorable, joyous and made it feel like home. I would like to thank all staff at Concierge & Front Reception especially Maria, Dilla, Richard, Oki, Mayro, Neha, Rhendy, Vollyn, Bayu, Grace, Xavier, Tami, Darin, Kershe, Ika & Ben for always helping us out a lot and having nice, friendly chats and always greeting us with smiles! We learned a lot about food and places to visit in Jakarta through their information and advice. I would like to thank all security staff for making the hotel feel safe and secure at all times. I would also like to thank all housekeeping staff for making the hotel and the room look very clean and sparkling at all times. Your attention to detail is superb! We had buffet breakfast every day during our stay and the restaurant was great, clean and the choice of food available at breakfast was exceptional! Such a vast range of food were available to suit every palette. The restaurant was very clean and once again the staff there were just so friendly and helpful and that enhanced our breakfast experience! Big thanks to Syafira, Dinda and all the staff there for taking care of us and making breakfast always awesome! I would like to thank all of you once again and also the countless others I haven't named or forgot to mention who made our stay wonderful & memorable! I remember all of your faces. The moment we entered the lobby, we were impressed and amazed with the ambiance of the hotel. We were greeted by such a lovely people in Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta. One of them was Ika. She was very kind and very welcoming not only to me and my husband, but also my daughter. The hotel is definitely a kid-friendly as they provided a kids activity for my daughter to do on our free time. Ika was very professional at her work. Her service and smile makes us very welcome to such a luxury hotel. My daughter was excited and every time look forward to see Ika on the front desk. She showed us to our room and explained to us all the facilities available. Her service is definitely a top notch. Not only that, the value we paid, receiving such service, was worth it. The location was near to all the popular malls. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, that one time they tidy up our room twice. Amazing. Not to forget, Sherly who played the kid activity with my daughter. Thank you for entertaining and makes my daughter comfortable. Although we had been told, why are you going to Jakarta, we wanted to visit what we knew to be a less ‘tourist’ destination and see the wonderful Indonesian people and charm We were not disappointed...Although we had been told, why are you going to Jakarta, we wanted to visit what we knew to be a less ‘tourist’ destination and see the wonderful Indonesian people and charm We were not disappointed, Mandarin is centrally located with a wonderful view of the centre of the city which as it happened was on the night of the 498th anniversary so we had fireworks all night (yes all night) and then had the chance to explore on car free Sunday for the first few hours too The hotel went above and beyond for us as another reason to visit MO was for the chance to experience the Li Feng restaurant however it was closed for the weekend due to a private event, my wife and I were very disappointed as we had heard such great things and are very much into experiencing great food and restaurants but the hotel went above and beyond to allow us to still done there so we essentially had a private dining experience- needless to say we were not disappointed with amazingly creative food and super tasty too Our room was wonderful and the whole experience including the lounge made for a perfect weekend - I would highly recommend a weekend in Jakarta as it really is not just a business destinationShow More

The Jakarta MO is no exception. In fact, the Jakarta MO is one of the best. The rooms are wonderfully laid out with extremely large bathroom and closet. The pool and spa are peaceful oasis in a busy city. In my opinion the MO's have THE best breakfast buffets across the board. The Jakarta location is among the best of the best. The food was fantastic and the choices overwhelming. The staff was on the spot collecting plates or bringing more coffee. Speaking of food. The room service and pool service food was equally delicious. Sometimes food from room service arrives cold. Not here. Even the fries arrived hot. The thing that puts the Mandarin Oriental Jakarta at the top is it’s staff. Everyone from wait staff to housekeeping to concierge to valet care about the guests. They go above and beyond to give the guest the best possible experience even after check-out. We can not thank the staff enough for a truly memorable experience.Show More
