The location was a little tricky to find at first because it’s in the heart of the gothic quarter but the front desk and concierge were SO he...My husband and I stayed here for our 7th year anniversary. The location was a little tricky to find at first because it’s in the heart of the gothic quarter but the front desk and concierge were SO helpful once we arrived. They sent someone to meet us and personally guide us there. Otherwise the location was perfect for getting around the city. We walked everywhere. So many nice restaurants and museums including the MOMA Barcelona were within a 10 min walk. The hotel and room were absolutely gorgeous and felt so luxurious. The food at the restaurant and tapas bar were top tier. I recommend adding the breakfast to your stayShow More

Located between the Gothic Quarter and El Born districts, you’ll find anywhere you need to visit within a comfortable walking distance. Coming from the states, we can confidently say we felt very safe at all hours of the day and even night staying in this area. The staff was super welcoming, never too busy to help us with anything we needed. Beautiful interiors blend the ancient history of this city with contemporary elegance including some walls dating back to Roman times. The team at the Mercer reflects the refined space of the hotel. Everyone was incredibly helpful throughout our4 day stay. Our room was clean with a comfortable bed and we slept the best of our 3 week trip. There is a pleasant serenity to the property. We LOVED the breakfast it is worth including this in your stay! The rooftop pool is small but nice with a relaxing atmosphere for downtime from the active days of touring.
