This is a basic 3 star hotel that has Clean and Comfortable Rooms, in an ideal location downtown, has amazing, helpful, & friendly staff, and is all offered at a very decent price compared to other ho...This is a basic 3 star hotel that has Clean and Comfortable Rooms, in an ideal location downtown, has amazing, helpful, & friendly staff, and is all offered at a very decent price compared to other hotels in the vicinity. I highly recommend this hotel for shorter stays. This hotel is perfect for short stays where main purpose is to be located within downtown. Yes the building is old and it is felt as soon as you walk in, the corridor and rooms have a distinctive smell which is not pleasant in the beginning, however you get used to it. Here is a detailed review of all facilities. Location: It’s very conveniently located in the downtown with all sites and parks at a walking distance. Public transit including bus and train are both available at max a 6 minute walk, while plenty of restaurants, cafes, & convenience stores on the same block. Rooms: The corridor and Rooms have a strange smell as of being old. This makes you uncomfortable in the beginning however everything is very clean including the room, carpet, bed sheets, and all other linen. The bed and pillows are really comfortable and provide a peaceful sleep. The rooms are very small though but do have a large closet space in which luggage can be stored to make room. The closet also has a refrigerator, coffee machine, safe, and a full size mirror. The rooms either face the main Seymour street or another building. The street facing rooms have a nice view but being on the road means they are a bit more noisy. There is a desk and chair in the room while enough power outlets to charge devices next to the bedside. Bathroom: The bathrooms are small, cramped, and have an old outlay, yet everything worked perfectly fine. There was no water clogging or water temperature issues. The shower pressure on the top most 4th floor was decent. The towels were very clean and soft while plenty of them were provided. The bathroom amenities were very nice as well. Common Areas: The lobby is small and has a few sofas to sit on. The elevator is also a bit small and can fit in up to 6 people. There is a restaurant and a bar on the ground floor as well. The public restrooms at the ground level are also very clean. The rooms are also easily accessible by stairs. Staff: The entire staff are the best. They welcome you with a smile, they do their tasks very quickly. They stored our luggage both before check in and after check out. The house keeping staff were very kind and helpful as well. Every interaction with the staff was extremely pleasant and they made sure our needs were addressed promptly. They turned in the heating at our request and later even called to ask if we needed a room heater. Brilliant people. In the end I would highly recommend this hotel if you need a place in downtown Vancouver for stays.Show More

The best part about this hotel is the location. It doesn't get better for doing activities downtown Vancouver. There is a nice restaurant attached, as well as a pub and a liquor store. Direkt gegenüber des Hotels liegt das Orpheum mit Konzerten und Theateraufführungen. Nur wenige Blocks entfernt ist die Robson-Street mit Geschäften und das moderne Yaletown-Viertel mit einer großartigen Café- und Restaurant-Auswahl. Unser gebuchtes Mini-Zimmer war für drei Nächte vollkommen ausreichend. Positiv überrascht waren wir von der Kaffeemaschine und dem Kühlschrank.Show More
