Never stayed in Seville before so we looked forward to spending a few days there. We booked Hotel Monte Triana through Booking.com and chose it due to the price and location. We booked Hotel Monte Triana through Booking.com and chose it due to the price and location. We were going to stay in the Radisson which is bang in the city centre but couldn't justify the price! Monte Triana is - in Triana - which is west of the old centre over the river. It's about 25 -30 minute walk from here to the Alkazar and Cathedral - so not too far out. We found the hotel to be quiet and ideal for our purposes. It doesn't have a restaurant that serves lunches and dinner but only breakfast - which is very good. Plenty of great places to eat and drink anyway, so you don't want to be stuck inside your hotel. Only issue we had was that the bed pillows weren't very comfortable. However, there is a pillow menu and you can request fiber or feather pillows - so that was our fault!! So can't really fault it. If you're not used to much noise at night, make sure you get a room that isn't overlooking the street - which we did and is was very quiet! Cleanliness is first class.Show More

Room was bright and clean with welcome bottled water. Toiletries were plentiful with all the necessary, shampoo, conditioner, hand/body wash and body lotion; hair dryer was powerful. Bed was huge! Breakfast was very good with a lovely selection which should suit all tastes and replenished frequently. Pool area is pleasant with a reasonable size pool, towels available from reception for €1.50. Every member of staff you met or walked past were all very friendly with lots of ‘Holas’. Reception booked us a Flamenco show 10 mins away which was a lovely intimate setting with excellent dancers; also sorted us out a taxi quickly when our booked taxi did not turn up. Hotel is about 15/20 mins walk to the main city and in a quiet area. All in all a lovely experience, we would definitely recommend!Show More
