The first time, the staff sprayed perfume in the room. The second time, I was moved to a smaller room (even though I had paid for a larger room) but it had the same issue. Leaving the aircon on all day helped a little. However, the aircon was noisy and did not work well because the electricity (room key) card was faulty. Rooms are not soundproofed. I was kept awake for hours by a crying baby next door. Considering it is a Mövenpick hotel, soundproofing should be standard. The shower was hot and had excellent pressure. But, it was old and rusty. The carpet was worn and (even though it was “clean”) it looked “dirty”. The pool looked dirty, so I did not use it. Service was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary chocolate fondue (every day between 4 and 5 pm) was a nice touch. The location is a 15 min walk from the old town. A daily night market is right on the doorstep. If you book through Booking, note that city taxes are added at the hotel. For 4 nights, I paid approx. €30. Not a luxury stay. Not comfortable. Would not recommend. Would not book again.Show More
