Busy street but quiet. No ambulance or police sirens all night long. I felt safe walking alone at night. Breakfast is great. You get to select 5 items from quite a few items - water, juice, soda, pastries, yogurt, continental essentials. The staff serves you at the counter. The staff was really nice! Check-in: pretty standard check-in. Check-in staff was very friendly. Security was friendly and present 24/7. They check everyone's key tag as they enter. Elevators all worked while I was there.Show More

If you only need a place to rest your head for 8 hours the...The price was amazing. If you tamper expectations you may find this hotel to be a legitimate alternative to paying exorbitant summer pricing. If you only need a place to rest your head for 8 hours then this may be a solution to your needs. It was very clean....there was zero noise, and the staff located me directly across from the bathroom and shower facilities. The room was very warm, but a fan was supplied. Bring a lap top or cell phone as it will be the only source of entertainment you will have as there are no TV or radio available. Since I was out till midnight, the room was all I really needed and I would consider this hotel in future for solo accommodations. The 11am check out was handy and next time I will try the complimtary breakfast offering. Location is good and reasonably safe, friendly and helpful staff greeted me on arrival and departure. Excellent option for those on a tight budget. No bells and whistles....if you want that in Toronto's busy summer season expect to pay at least 7 times what this hotel charges.Show More
