The location was very good. Very near the train station and a short walk to the bus area. Also the water bus is out in front near to the property. If you are there for just one day to explore this is ...The location was very good. Very near the train station and a short walk to the bus area. Also the water bus is out in front near to the property. If you are there for just one day to explore this is an even better stay as you can hop on the water bus or private boat and ride all the way up the Grand Canal and then make your way back by foot exploring. This does not feel like an on the edge of Venice hotel as you are not. The beauty of Venice is immediate. I was on the third level and a had a peek of the grand canal. It could seem noisy for some from the street, but it was not for me as I sleep with sound all night so that may have helped. If that is an issue for you, ask for a room away from the street. The staff was very helpful and held our luggage the following while we explored till we left. The luggage was taged and stored securely. Very pleased with that. The only thing I would have preferred is if the "refrigerator' was colder. It was more like a chiller and no way to get it cold enough for my liking. I like cold water in the morning. Thankfully I was able to get ice from the bar in the evening and it lasted in my insulated water bottle till morning. I was solo overnight until I met up with my friends the next day and I felt very comfortable and safe here. Show More

If you prefer you can get a ta...We stayed 3 nights and were very impressed by this hotel. It’s easy to get to from the airport take the water bus orange line to Guglie stop and it’s a five minute walk. If you prefer you can get a taxi by road which drops you off at the bus station again a five minute walk for around 40 euros. Hotel has a beautiful entrance and is right by a stunning bridge, restaurants and shops. Very near the Fervouisa vapparetto stop too. There is also a small courtyard which is so serene behind the hotel compared with the busy streets outside. Lovely room with very comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom. Just wish there had been a mirror in the bedroom in the desk to do my hair! Sadly I was unwell on the last night of our stay and the reception team were very kind and allowed us to stay in the hotel room until 1pm which was a really great help thank you. Didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on the breakfast but would def stay there again Venice is wonderful!Show More

The location is what sold me on this hotel because I didn’t want to be bothered with needing a water taxi to take us to and from the hotel and train station. Be prepared to walk a lot in Venice. The whole island is walkable. It took about 25-30 mins to walk to San Marco square & Doge palace. The hotel is directly across from the grand canal and some good breakfast spots right next door which are perfect for a pastry and cappuccino before you start your long day of walking around. Would stay here again!Show More
