The service was professional and ...We stayed here for 3 nights, celebrating my 40th with my husband. We've never stayed in a 4 star before as we always go 5 star. However this hotel dis not compromise. The service was professional and all staff were so friendly and helpful, especially the doorman every day and evening- helping with maps, recommendations, taxi's. The hotel is 40 mins taxi ride from airport. It is a 10 mins walk to Spanish steps and 20 mins walk to the Trevi fountain/plaza Novana/ Pantheon. We also walked it to the colosseum which was a 30 min walk. We not once needed a taxi, however walking at nught can be tiredsome as the hotel is on a steep climb/ road. The Borghese gardens opposite are just beautiful and the peaceful and vibe of the area is a nice change to the hustle and bustle of downtown Rome. Breakfast was lovely- had the basic cold and hot continental breakfast. It is more catered for adults than children however. Rooms are fresh, clean, and housekeeping is wonderful- daily cleaned, with bottled of water restocked. Our room was on the small side, but had a great large bathroom and did the trick as we only used it at night for sleep. I would recommend asking for a room with a view over looking the Borghese gardens as ours overlooked internals walls, which was a shame. Would recommend this hotel. It is cost effective and also modern, cool decor, and well maintained. For the price we paid and its location i would highly recommendShow More

The entrance through the basement feels quite odd, and the lobby’s decoration looks more like a nightclub than a stylish hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, but the bed was actually two twin beds pushed together, which isn’t ideal for a couple. The decor was also rather peculiar, a mix of wallpaper imitating Pompeii ruins and pink-painted walls. The result is a bizarre and confusing aesthetic. The biggest issue, however, was the noise. The hotel hosts airline crews, and when they return from their flights late at night, they make a lot of noise in the hallways. On our last night, it was almost impossible to sleep. Maybe we were unlucky, but it was very disturbing. The location is also not great. The hotel is a bit far from Rome’s main attractions, so you’ll need transportation for almost everything — except for Villa Borghese Park, which is relatively close. In summary, it’s a clean and comfortable hotel, but with strange decor, excessive noise, and an inconvenient location.Show More

And we were greeted extremely welcoming and with true cordial approach by the doorman (sorry but I did not catch his name/ tall strong gentleman).He escorted us the reception where we were greeted again extremely cordial and with genuine human warmth by the reception agent Mrs.Melissa.She also could not have been supportive, friendly and warm same as the doorman. At breakfast we were served by the gentleman named Fredericio again with a genuine human warmth, kindness and very friendly manner. Dear Management, please extend our deepest gratitude to all three members of your team.Above all, treat them and all your team members as pure gold!
