The location is central enough, albeit a little tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. Walking, especially with senior parents and small babies proved to be a big stress and hassle. Getti...The location is central enough, albeit a little tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. Walking, especially with senior parents and small babies proved to be a big stress and hassle. Getting anywhere on foot is almost unrealistic from here, especially on a hot day. But having the O Villas drivers as a complementary service was such a convenient bonus! We liked our stay mainly because it was a big family reunion, so we created our own vibe and atmosphere. The staff members were friendly and smily, but I wish we were provided with more real tips / insider recommendations - unfortunately we had to figure it all out ourselves through trial and error, which is a shame when you only have 9 days. Breakfast is nice and filling for the day. We had to buy bacon and some other condiments at the supermarket because some of us needed more than one slice of bacon with our eggs. But the staff cooked it for us so that was all good. We had a large water filter with cold, room temp and hot water - that was extremely handy. There were several inflatables provided for the kids in the pool - a nice touch. With apps like Grab and Gojek, any delivery is a breeze and doesn’t take long. Goes without saying, the quality of food and services has come a long way in Bali in the last few years! I would only recommend these villas on a couple of conditions - firstly, really deep cleaning must be done, and secondly, a special price applied. Our friends stayed at villa Paya Paya around the corner and it was night and day - an architectural delight with a huge pool and state of the art facilities - at the same price. I know how rare, expensive, special and important a family / group holiday can be (first hand), so I want the next travellers wondering where to stay - to know all the ins and outs.
