It was nice to have the seating area and small kitchenette a...We booked the Deluxe Studio and it was spacious and clean with a very nice bath/shower and the area was nice, away from main tourist areas. It was nice to have the seating area and small kitchenette as well as the in-room washer/dryer. We included breakfast only for the first morning as we knew we would be tired but it was a huge disappointment, especially for the price. Little selection and hot foods were barely warm. The next day we went down to the lobby and asked to purchase just coffee and were not permitted to do so. We complained and the hotel staff said the kitchen area was managed separately and didn't seem to care at all. Thankfully we only had three nights booked here as there was no attitude of hospitality as we found in the other two lovely places we stayed in Kyoto.Show More

The hotel is in a great location close to the Gion area, the Teramachi shopping street and the Imperial Palace. It has a kitchen and washing machine which is great and plenty of restaurants close by. There is a good supermarket in the Zest underground shopping centre close by. The staff all spoke English and were very helpful.Show More
