Our original room was above the bar on a Friday night when a band was playing. We were given ear plugs and noise canceling machines. This was a nice gesture, but would not have been very effective. W...Our original room was above the bar on a Friday night when a band was playing. We were given ear plugs and noise canceling machines. This was a nice gesture, but would not have been very effective. With much empathy from the staff, we were moved to the one remaining available accommodation i.e. the entire quiet, spacious and comfortable 2 bedroom cottage next to the inn. It proved to be just the right solution. The staff's willingness to help is a deciding factor to recommend the Inn to others and choose it upon our return.Show More

It's situated right inbthe middle of town with lots of shops within walking distance. There was very little need to interact with the staff aside from checking in which was convenient and the rooms we...It's situated right inbthe middle of town with lots of shops within walking distance. There was very little need to interact with the staff aside from checking in which was convenient and the rooms were clean and tidy. It's nothing fancy but it meets your needs for a short stay. However during the summer there was live music Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights that went until 1230am which was very loud if you were in your room so if you are someone who is early to bed, be ready.Show More

There were no staff working at the desk, and no one answered the phone, so no staff to talk to. Expedia support was also terrible customer service. The room was clean and comfortable. The food at the pub was tasty with large servings. All was reasonably priced.
