From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Brandan, who thoughtfully upgraded us to a King Suite — such a kind gesture that set the tone for our stay. I was immediately impressed, not only by the timeless beauty of the hotel but by how exceptionally clean every area was. Our suite was immaculate — from the sparkling shower glass doors to the spotless glass table coverings, not a single water mark or speck of dust in sight. The room was fully equipped with everything we needed and exuded both elegance and comfort. The spa treatment I received was absolutely amazing, and once again, the spa itself was spotless — even the sauna was perfectly maintained. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The restaurant food was flavourful and beautifully presented, and the entire dining experience was delightful. And I must mention — the robes! They were the most comfortable I’ve ever worn: soft, warm, lightweight, and luxurious without feeling stiff. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already decided to celebrate all of our future anniversaries at the Omni King Edward Hotel. An absolutely stunning and remarkable hotel — from the staff and service to the food and cleanliness. Well done!Show More

W...From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, there was nothing we didn’t like about this fantastic hotel. Princess (yes that was her name) was exceedingly helpful and really friendly. We received our room immediately and also received couple of drink vouchers which was a nice touch. The hotel looks even better from the inside and once you step in, you will see the grand lobby. The room was very big with more space than you would expect for such a centrally located hotel. No issues with the room or the facilities. We appreciated the coffee shop which was connected to the hotel ( we did not choose to take breakfast add on). The bar was really nice with street views, and the gym was well stocked. Really not much missing except a pool. The subway is few minutes away as is a circle k and more shops , restaurants, bars and what not within 8 minutes max. Overall we loved the hotel, the location and all the facilities. Being this close to the PATH, street car, subway and what not is really worth it. If you are going to stay downtown this is highly recommended!Show More

Shower faucet was loose so I couldn’t keep the temp steady, it would continue to turn and become scalding so I had to shower with one hand while holding the hand...Terrible room that was not to code. Shower faucet was loose so I couldn’t keep the temp steady, it would continue to turn and become scalding so I had to shower with one hand while holding the handle. There was only 12” of space between the sink and the wall, and to access the space I had to enter the washroom and fully close the door. Extremely frustrating when trying to get ready in the morning. I couldn’t stand far back enough to even effectively use the mirror., or even bend down to get towels or a hair dryer. The other mirror in the closet was also unusable as the closet door was not level and kept closing, but it also opened into the dresser so again, I had to stand a few inches away from the mirror and could also not use it to get dressed.Show More

First the positives: 1) Great location downtown; 2) Comfortable bed Cons: 1) We arrived early to the hotel as we had been travelling and were going straight to a business meeting and although we had a reservation and a room was available we were charged $75.00 as an early checkin (how do you spell money grab!!!); 2) The room was more like an airport hotel room, i.e. no personality, very bland; 3) No nightly turndown service; 4) The room wasn't really cleaned very well; and 5) Except for the server in the bar and the gentleman outside taking care of taxis (with white beard) the staff were not welcoming. I will never stay in this hotel again, for the class of hotel that it purports to be, it was a very poor experience.Show More
