Positive Aspects: The accommodations were comfortable and nicely positioned overlooking the riverwalk, providing a lovely setting for our visit. Areas of Concern: Unfortunately, we encountered several service issues that significantly impacted our experience: Pool/Bar Service: During an evening visit to the pool area around 6:00 PM, we discovered the outdoor bar had closed unexpectedly early. While the front desk directed us to the indoor bar as an alternative, the staff member who assisted us appeared unwelcoming and seemed inconvenienced by our request. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere that detracted from our relaxation time. Security/Access Issues: On Saturday evening, around 12:30 AM, we experienced a key card malfunction that prevented our entry from the riverwalk entrance. Despite contacting the front desk immediately, we waited approximately 10 minutes for assistance—an unreasonably long response time for a security matter. The situation became increasingly uncomfortable as other guests/people began to stare and speculate about our circumstances. We ultimately gained entry when departing guests opened the door, after which we addressed the matter directly with front desk management. Overall Assessment: While the physical property has merit, these service lapses and extended response times do not align with 4+ star hospitality standards. Originally booked it because it was within walking distance of many of my favorite places including Mokara Spa. I booked me and my spouse a massage the next morning. Got up early to go to my massage and was notified at arrival that they couldn’t accommodate us both and suggested we reschedule separate which defeats the whole purpose. Got back to the hotel and told the front desk and ask to speak with the manager. I was told the phones don’t work and I wouldn’t be able to speak to one. I finally went back to the front desk only to find a clueless staff again. So we went to the pool only to find out that the pool bar was closed. I checked and booked this hotel due to this amenity. So I again go back to the desk and finally get to talk to a manager and the only response I got was so sorry we didn’t update our website! So I canceled my final night and went to another hotel. It is a pretty rundown hotel with rooms and as you’re walking up to your remote room you think you are in the back of the house not actual 4 star hotel. The sheets even had holes in them soo definitely not a 4 star hotel!!! I was only offered a tray of cheese/crackers for a complete waste of 24 hours!!! Don’t waste your money here! Last note is the pool is seriously outdated with broken wall statues and the main entry at the back of the pool with is not easily accessible. Just avoid this wreck and stay anywhere else!Show More

I spoke to the ambassador before our arrival and he helped me plan the perfect romantic amenities for the room. From the moment we got there the staff was incredible. Valet was extremely kind, careful, and speedy with our vehicle. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. We ordered a lot of DoorDash because our options as vegans are limited on The Riverwalk, and the front desk either took it straight to our room, or offered to do so. The room was spacious and clean with an incredible view of The Riverwalk with a private balcony. Housekeeping did an incredible job with the room both before and during our stay. There is also extremely easy access to The Riverwalk and the surrounding area. Overall it was an amazing experience, and the staff at the Omni made my engagement weekend one to remember, and my fiancée and I will certainly be back. I highly recommend this hotel and to splurge a little on the room with the view, because it’s absolutely worth it.Show More

Love the water in the lobby. The Four brothers for breakfast is a must. The quaint bridge to the other side. Water features and grounds are spectacular. We had a river view balcony for the Parade of the Dead. Our neighbors took our chairs and acted like there was nothing wrong with it? Oh well..... We stood and enjoyed the parade anyway. My husband brought a chair from inside so we could sit. Only negative which no fault of the hotel. The decor and flooring of this place is wonderful. I would highly advise this place when visiting. Only place on the river walk is what I was told. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Everything seemed updated and modern. The pool looked nice and tropical if you are a pool person. Looked inviting for sure. Fantastic Moody bar with a fireplace too.Show More
