We stayed here for 7 nights in a Deluxe Chalet. The room we had, room 747, was not the size as stated and it is in need of a renovation. The room is on the ground floor amongst the beautiful landscape...We stayed here for 7 nights in a Deluxe Chalet. The room we had, room 747, was not the size as stated and it is in need of a renovation. The room is on the ground floor amongst the beautiful landscaped gardens. The tropical plants, you want to have them at home. The room consisted of a king size bed which was comfortable, the pillows we changed as we like foam pillows. They are not the foam pillows you think, they are super soft, but they were ok. A large couch which was so deep that you needed a cushion and a pillow to be comfortable. A coffee table and a door to lead you outside to the courtyard where you can sit in the shade. Back in the room, a desk where you can charge your devices, bar fridge, coffee pod machine and tea & coffee. A wardrobe with a light, 4 drawers for your clothes and a safe. The bathroom has a single vanity, free standing bath, toilet and a very large shower with a rain head & hand held. The water pressure was excellent and so was the temperature. We had a massage & facial at the spa and both were excellent. The massage was a deep tissue with the right amount of pressure. The facial was a collegean for me and the men’s facial for my husband. Breakfast was included in the price which is a buffet style. The range of food is fantastic, Asian style noodles, rices, soups. Eggs all kind of ways. You order your omelette and can order “well done” scrambled eggs. I found the scrambled eggs pre cooked were too mushy for my taste. Juices, flavoured milk, water, tea, coffee, fruit, oh so sweet, yogurt, pastries, crepes, the. List goes on and on. Breakfast will suit everyone. There are 4 swimming pools, one for the babies, but most kids are in the lagoon pool. There is an adults only pool and another at the Skai Bar. At 3pm daily, there is some kind of activity for kids and sometimes for the adults. The lagoon pool, which is where we hung around is salt water. So refreshing from being chlorine. The water temperature is just right, not super cold like some pools can be. You can be served drinks & food around the pool. The Padma have a great system where if you want the attention of the servers, you put up the yellow flag which is laying down on the table between the sun lounges and they come and you can place your order. They have happy hour from 9am-11am and again at 3pm. They have fantastic cocktails and a snack menu. We attended the Italian theme night, which was good. A buffet style dinner where you can get pasta ready made or order a pasta. There was salads, vegies, chicken & meat dishes and of course beautiful cakes & other deserts. The location of the Padma is excellent, situated on busy Legian Road where there are many cafes, restaurants and shops. I would recommend staying at the PadmaShow More

The facilities were great, the service was excellent, and the staff were always friendly, greeting guests with smiles every time we passed by. The airport transfer driver, Dede, was especially kind and professional. He explained local areas and traffic conditions very well, making the ride both comfortable and informative — a great impression of the hotel’s service. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach, and within about 15 minutes on foot you can find plenty of great restaurants, shops, and massage places, making it very convenient. The yoga class felt professional and well-organised, and the gym was well-equipped and well-maintained. When I reported a problem with the refrigerator, it was immediately replaced, showing how responsive the staff were. There are three pools, and I mostly used the Lagoon Pool, which I absolutely loved. The breakfast buffet was satisfying, though I wish there had been more tropical fruits like mangoes or mangosteens. The pizza and drinks at Barong Pool Bar were also excellent. One downside was that a guest was vaping at the Lagoon Pool, and no one stopped them. Of course, the person smoking was mainly at fault, and I understand it can be difficult for staff to intervene — but since it’s a non-smoking area and there are children around, I wish more attention had been given to enforcing that rule. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely return in the future.Show More

You are the staff who treat us like family. It’s your smiles. It’s the genuine joy over the past 15 years since our kids were little to now being 25 years old and us coming back to share Christmas with you again this year. It’s the laughter from attempting yoga with Bagus together as a family in the morning to the best breakfast in the world in my husbands eyes, to David creating his magic with his cocktail moves at the Skai bar, to Mardika the chef, Hari & Dharma at the teppanyaki cooking up A feast for us. It’s all the options on offer to entertain us from tennis to archery and the gym, to the flower petal spa experience. On occasion we top and tail our Bali holiday with another hotel and location to see what else is out there. As yet nothing has measured up and we keep spending the majority of our holiday at the Padma. The grounds are beautiful, the pools are fabulous (including a beautiful adult infinity pool if some adult relief is required), there is a great choice of room types and configurations, lots of hotel food options (and multitudes of restaurants within a short walking distance), great breakfast and everything is so clean. But the clincher is the staff - they are exceptional; friendly, professionally and unfailingly helpful. We have never felt so welcome. I should also add, the Padma has an in-house medical centre with a doctor and nurse available daily. We have used that service 3 times, including on our most recent holiday. It is very reassuring to be able to get qualified medical assistance when needed. We have already booked our family visit for 2026.Show More
