I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment regarding my recent stay at The Venetian Las Vegas on March 17, 2025. Due to a flight delay, I had to stay for one night, but the experience was a complete disaster. I have been a loyal guest for years, but this experience has completely changed my perception of your hotel.
Serious Issues During My Stay:
1. False Charges & Broken Promises – I was assured a complimentary late checkout until 2:30 PM, but at 1:59 PM, I received a missed call. When I followed up, staff denied any record of my late checkout and charged me an additional $400 on top of my original booking. This is unacceptable and deceptive.
2. Rude & Discriminatory Treatment by Staff – When I tried to resolve the issue, I encountered a manager named Anthony, who displayed a horrible attitude and treated me in an unprofessional and hostile manner. His behavior made me feel unwelcome and possibly discriminated against. When I requested his name and attempted to document the situation, he threatened to call security instead of addressing my concerns.
3. Lack of Accountability from Management – When I escalated the issue to the manager on duty, instead of apologizing or assisting, she defended Anthony’s behavior and showed no concern for my experience. Upper management refused to speak with me altogether, leaving me humiliated in front of other guests.
4. Filthy Room & Unresponsive Service – The room I received was dirty and unsanitary. I had to wait two hours just to receive basic toiletries like shampoo and towels, which is completely unacceptable for a luxury hotel.
5. Disorganized & Incompetent Service – When I ordered food from my favorite restaurant, security and customer service had no idea where Uber Eats should deliver packages. Later, when I needed a ride, hotel staff couldn’t even direct me to the correct Lyft pickup location. It was clear that many employees were poorly trained and unhappy, making the entire experience chaotic.
This situation was deeply upsetting and unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be a luxury destination. As a paying guest, I expected professionalism, courtesy, and basic competence. Instead, I was met with dishonesty, discrimination, and a complete lack of customer care.

6/10 Great location for the Sphere. This would be the only reason we would stay here again.
Very nice accommodations. Service and amenities were not worth the amount it cost to stay here. Things that are standard at other motels cost a LOT extra just to get here. The only refrigerator available was one that was completely packed with things you had to purchase at an unbelievably high cost. Such as a bottle of water for $16. The view of the sphere however was amazing. It was also very nice to have the walkway to get to the sphere. Some staff were very nice. The check out staff were very rude and dismissive.

10/10 Trip to Las Vegas recommendation on hotels
Staying at the Palazzo is one of what you look for when in Vegas. The Resort and the Rooms are luxurious, the Restaurants are extensive and excellent, the gaming is great, the entertainment is varied and unique ( the sphere visit is a must), it has ample amount of great shops, but the best thiing you find at the resort is their people, they always try to make you feel special and welcomed. To us this resort gives what Vegas is all about

8/10 Luxurious
The hotel room looks impressive and it is very big. Same for the bathroom. The view is also nice.
What I found weird is that you can’t use their fridge without paying a fine and if you want room service you have a long list of taxes and service fees. Also I think it’s weird for a 5-star hotel to not offer (disposable) slippers.
But maybe I am just spoiled on how these things are usually done in Europe:)

10/10 Iconic, as always!
Iconic, as usual! 10/10 for comfort, location, cleanliness, space, safety and activities. They offered to bill us for parking along with the hotel booking, but we ended up getting stuck at the exit near the end since we returned the keys upon checkout. Other than the minor inconvenience, it was a perfect stay! The view of the Sphere from our room was a cherry on top!

Room is HUGE. You have an entire separate living room with another t.v. All the suites are like this. Perfect for a group of 4-5 if necessary. Bathroom also HUGE with lots of room for everyone to get ready. Nice spacious tub and separate glass shower. The pool area is beautiful and also big. Beautiful, quiet, luxury. Highly recommend Palazzo/Venetian resorts!!

6/10 Paying for parking is wrong
Guests should NOT have to pay for parking .
Other than that, it is an amazing clean Hotel.
The suites are impeccable with every amenity you could ask for in a hotel/casino that has been in business for decades.
Safe secure and no other issues other than parking fee on top of the resort fee.

We enjoyed the stay at the Palazzo side of the Venetian. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very spacious and clean. It had an old vibe, but not gross. The parking was easy along with check in and check out. I would definitely stay here again.

Really liked the hotel. Beautiful, spacious room overlooking the Sphere. Comfy bed. Great bathroom.
