Pan Pacific Singapore is approximately 15-20 mins drive (depending on traffic) from Changi Airport via highway (mostly). It is located in the mixed business-shopping hub of Suntec City and Marina Squa...Pan Pacific Singapore is approximately 15-20 mins drive (depending on traffic) from Changi Airport via highway (mostly). It is located in the mixed business-shopping hub of Suntec City and Marina Square, within close proximity of Marina Bay Sands (the hotel that looks like a spaceship), the Ritz-Carlton and opposite Conrad Centennial. Hence it is sited with both business and luxury hotels in an ideal location. This hotel acknowledges and appreciates loyalty for its clients who are part of the GHA Discovery program, from a dedicated sit-down check in area, to room upgrades and complimentary drinks in the room's minibar (for Titanium members). Check-in is/was a breeze, whether GHA member or not, with front desk always manned with sufficient staff who appears to be confident at their roles (i.e. not trainees like some other hotels) and service with a smile. On this occasion I checked in at front desk instead of the dedicated sit-down area as there was no one at the regular front desk. As Titanium - PanPacSin honours room upgrades - so I was upgraded to Club Room with lounge access. As a second timer to this property, I was pleasantly surprised when one of the club lounge staff, Kate (I think that's her name) recognised me (from my first stay some 6-8 months ago) and welcomed me back - excellent memory! This is one of those little gestures that sets staff and one hotel apart from another. Club lounge experience was superb as per my first stay, though I was informed a shortened complimentary cocktail menu now graced canapes timeslot instead of the longer one I saw during my first stay. Canapes were excellent - taste and variety; far more impressive that the Conrad Centennial's (located directly opposite this hotel) executive lounge. And BTW, the Club lounge's level was higher than the Conrad's one too (and perhaps purposefully done). Breakfast buffet was also top notch, with stations separated into cuisines - such as Singapore local delights, Chinese, India, Japanese, Western. Almost a bit of everything. Breakfast is complimentary for Titanium members - so GHA Discovery has this edge over other loyalty programs such as IHG (and also Hilton Honors as they have revised their breakfast policy). One thing I love about this hotel is their 'night menu' where you can order a complimentary Chamomile tea with a 'turn-down' cookie to help you unwind for bed. This is greatly appreciated - and even more so if you are arriving after 11 pm where all shops and eating places are closed (other than room service)! Again as Titanium member, late check-out was provided - reinforcing that this hotel strongly recognises loyalty and goes all the way out to make guests feel at home and valued. With polite smiling staff, hotel delivering on what they said they will do (e.g. complimentary night menu), amazing food plus excellent hard product offerings - I could not find anything to fault even on Stay #2 - not even a quibble. I would have given this hotel an exceptional star or a +1 rating above 5 if there is. Definitely a return!Show More

We tried to sleep a bit but found the bed a bit like a trampoline. When one of us turned the other one would bounce up and down. After talking to the manager? He said we had to move to another room as they wouldn’t change the mattress. In the end we moved to a twin bed room but still with the spectacular view to the mariner. We enjoyed the champagne breakfast and evening cocktail with beautiful 360 view. The food was very good too. Special thanks to Danny for his attentive service. He always top up our champagne and wine. Other staff were also very friendly and helpful too. The concierge staff were very helpful. The overall experience in the club lounge was excellent. We would definitely sty here again.Show More

Room service was excellent, seemed like Rita always knew when we were out and each day that we returned to our room it was as neat and clean as it was on the day we arrived! We also really enjoyed the Singapore Lusaka in the restaurant downstairs, fact is it was so delicious that I had it twice- our waitress let me know it was their signature dish, it’s easy for me to understand why! I LOVED IT! It was our first visit to Singapore, it an incredible city and definitely our favorite of all the cities we experienced on our tour of Asia. I’m not sure when we will return but when we do we we’d choose the Pan Pacific again!Show More
