This place did not disappoint—unless you count my tragic, Shakespearean quest for HP sauce. But I’ll get to that. First, the important bits: The views? Incredible. The sort of scenery that makes you consider quitting your job, becoming a poet, and writing odes to mountains. The service? Impeccable. The staff handled everything with such ease and charm that I briefly wondered if they were reading my mind. Now, to the only tiny improvement I could suggest. One fine morning, inspired by the crisp mountain air, I set out on a noble mission: to craft a proper bacon butty. I found the white bread. I found the bacon. I located ketchup lurking in the children’s section like a mischievous imp. But alas—no HP sauce. My British heart sighed. My breakfast was delicious, yes, but lacked that final, saucy flourish that turns a good bacon butty into a transcendental one. Still, if the only flaw in a five-star stay is the absence of HP sauce at breakfast, you know you’re dealing with one spectacular hotel. Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono: where everything is perfect… except my condiment-related dramatics. Highly recommend. Will return—possibly with my own emergency rations of HP.Show More

Being a Park Hyatt, I expected a seamless and perfect stay. However, that was not the case, and the negative experience began at check-in. Perhaps due to my limited knowledge of Japanese language or p...Being a Park Hyatt, I expected a seamless and perfect stay. However, that was not the case, and the negative experience began at check-in. Perhaps due to my limited knowledge of Japanese language or possibly the reception staff's limited English, the staff member checking me in was not friendly at all. There was no welcome message as I usually received at reception being a Globalist member; the first thing I heard was a request to make a payment for my two children. After settling the payment, the staff member failed to mention any hotel details or Hyatt member recognition, which I have experienced in other Hyatt hotels. He simply handed me tickets for the free mountain lights or gondola ride without explaining how to use them. It was only when I asked if I could try both activities that he informed me I could only choose one. I did not expect such a low level of service from a superior hotel brand and felt that my family was not welcomed. After check-in, the reception staff told us he would escort us to our 2-bedroom residence. However, upon arriving at the lift lobby, he handed us off to another staff member without further explanation. During breakfast on July 6, the drinks we ordered took ages to arrive. It was amusing that the coffee and tea we ordered came without coffee spoons, while the juice my children ordered did come with a teaspoon. This highlighted the disorganization of the workflow, which should not occur at a Park Hyatt. Furthermore, there was a minor incident where a serving staff member dropped plates two tables away from us, creating a loud crash. I expected an apology for the incident, but instead, one of the staff approached us to inform us that breakfast would end in 15 or 30 minutes I could not remember. It was interesting to see how the staff managed this minor crisis on the spot. I acknowledge that the onsen residence I booked was good; however, considering the caliber of Park Hyatt and its price, the service level was totally unacceptable. Additionally, I did not recall any member benefits during my stay. Lastly, I wrote the above in the post-stay survey sent by the hotel. Normally, I would receive feedback from the hotel no matter how good or bad I have filled the survey. Nonetheless, I have never received any feedback or reply from this hotel, this means how the hotel treat its members.Show More

Everything was perfect and I’m very grateful to everyone who made our stay so fantastic. The hotel itself is very elegant and comfortable. Our deluxe suite (with private onsen) - room 667 - was honestly breathtaking. Great views of Mount Yotei, two bathrooms and a dressing room, a very comfortable lounge and lovely big bed. The hotel had so many great facilities: a 24-hour gym, onsen, great lounge (the Buttered Kingston cocktail was amazing), delicious breakfast (with a vast selection of high-quality items!), a games room for children and the onsite restaurant we tried (Teppan) was outstanding! Everyone we met was kind, professional and lovely to talk to. We also loved having s’mores and seeing the fireworks and mountain lights. Hokkaido was so beautiful - we loved hiking and hiking here - and resting up in our Onsen afterwards. The Park Hyatt was a beautiful place to start and end each day. I’d love to return!Show More

Hotel was huge and they offered me a better room with my status. This place is expansive and the views from each view were of quality sights. The in room onsen was a key player of why I chose this place, it was easy to manage and great for my wife and I to relax after a long trip of walking in Japan. The in room dining was easy to manage and food was delivered immediately. All cushions and bed cushion was plush. The staff workers were amazing and they were hospitable during my breakfast as well. There were many options and a vast choice of Hokkaido milk, which was my desire due to visiting this area. This place would be amazing during the winter and snowboarding.Show More
