I have...have been a long term patron of this hotel for a number years, so it is incredibly sad that their compete devolution of service and standards has left me no other option than to leave a review. I have given the hotel and the Radisson group ample opportunity to resolve this however it seems a downturn operational service from RB Canary Wharf East is a microcosm of what is happening across the whole brand. Emails not being acknowledged customer service advisors putting the phone, ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL The crux of my issue was that I arrived at the hotel and apparently had both a reservation with Booking.com and with Radisson. Granted this is my fault and error, however how an earth this cant be pointed out to me upon check in only god knows the fact I had the misfortune to be greeted by a trainee receptionist who clearly wasn't "trained" was probably something to do it with it, I should have known I was going to have issues when you she couldn't apply my upgrade I was entitled to because of membership status. The next day not knowing I had a Booking.com reservation I proceeded to take out another room at reception, to then receive a notification from Booking.com stating that I am a "no show". I immediately contacted Booking.com who advised to reply to the email explaining I am in-fact using a reservation at the hotel and to contact the hotel directly as the payment for the booking is at the hotels discretion. I spoke again to the trainee who mentioned that she had updated the booking and that although she had no power to cancel the booking she would ensure her manager would. I also pointed out that this was an oversight on my part but hopefully it was made for by the fact I had actually taken a second room so technically you did indeed end up with 2 bookings. Then two days later (obviously after I checked out!!) Not entirely to my surprise I saw that the hotel had billed me for the booking.com booking. This is completely unacceptable and goes directly against everything I was told. I then phone the hotel who refuse to give me the managers email address or put me through to him, they give me a generic email address which days later I still haven't even had an acknowledgement. I then speak to the complaints department at Radisson who asked me to send email and which still hasn't been acknowledged and then when I phoned them up chase the matter I am greeting by advisors who put the phone down, tell me they don't have an SLA or they are only dealing with complaints on the phone which the process is for them to send an email!!! Compound this with the fact the hotel stay itself was not only sub par from its one standards which prior to the recent change of management was impeccable, but below the standards I would expect from the Ibis Hotel down the road. - Check In process cant be upgraded as per my status because the trainee doesn't have authority and this elusive "manager" is not around - Greeted by hotel corridors full of used plates for hours - The Spa Facilities: Gym had work going on so half the equipment was unusable - Sauna completely decommissioned. (None of this advertised or detailed on check in!!!!!) - The room itself, a ridiculous amount of brown stains on the ceiling, the ceiling is white this could have been easily cleaned painted its just been left there - White sticky substance all over a patch of carpet. - Breakfast: Significant wait time to get seated had to actually go a pull a waitress to order Al-Carte This is a sorry state affairs & all stemming from something that could be easily resolved. Whilst out of loyalty I was prepared to look past these other issues when you add the double charge & complete absence of customer service & basic respect I have been left no option. Looking for a hotel in London I would Avoid given the price point and my recent experience I would avoid, despite my previous loyalty and I will now be giving my business to Hilton.Show More

The h...A lifesaver after a very stressful start to our trip We stayed at Radisson Blu Hotel London Canary Wharf East after an unfortunate issue with another accommodation, and it truly saved our trip. The hotel was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and welcoming, which was exactly what we needed after a very stressful day. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we all slept very well. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, with a great selection and very good quality. The location was peaceful, the hotel felt calm and well run, and overall it was a huge relief to stay somewhere so reliable. We were very grateful to have found this hotel and would happily stay again. Lovely views over the river to the O2 while having early morning breakfast.Show More

We were looking forward to breakfast however the buffet was a disappointment, everything had run out, hash browns, scrambled egg, mushrooms, croissants - everything, the chef is supposed to keep it topped up - not top it up when it runs out. On the plus side the orange juice was very nice and they had genuine HP Sauce. The room was noisy with the air-con/heating a constant rumble in the background. Position wise it's very good for the O2 there were Ubers no more than 2 minutes away and £15 to go to the O2 and £30 to return after 11pm. Would I return? Maybe just with lower expectations.Show More
