I have traveled extensively, both domestically and internationally, over the past 40 years, and I can confidently say this was the worst lodging experience I have ever encountered. The property is in...I have traveled extensively, both domestically and internationally, over the past 40 years, and I can confidently say this was the worst lodging experience I have ever encountered. The property is in a serious state of disrepair and appears to suffer from a complete lack of preventive and routine maintenance. Upon arrival, I noticed a significant roof leak in the lobby. During a rainstorm on the day I checked in, water was leaking through cracked concrete hallways and down to the first floor—clearly indicating major structural issues. The condition of the room was even more alarming. The bathroom walls and ceiling were covered in mold, and the bathtub was so dirty I refused to step foot in it. The mattress was stained, and the sheets smelled strongly of bleach—suggesting an attempt to sanitize a room that was otherwise unclean. The wall-mounted HVAC unit was visibly dirty, with what appeared to be mold growing on the vents. Stains were present on both the carpets and walls. Due to feeling unsafe (as there were homeless individuals immediately outside my room), and fearing the potential presence of pests, I left the lights on while sleeping. This is not an exaggeration—I was genuinely concerned for my health and safety. I have photographic evidence documenting the deplorable condition of the room and property. In its current state, this hotel should not be in operation. While I understand the budget-friendly price point and did not expect luxury, basic cleanliness, safety, and maintenance should be a given—none of which were met. The only reason I stayed the night was because I arrived after midnight and was unable to reach other hotels at that hour. I checked out as early as possible the next morning. Frankly, this location should be removed from Hotels.com listings, as it is misleading and does a great disservice to guests.Show More
