Travel Agent Review – Ramada Fallsview on Stanley During my recent 3-night stay at this hotel, I encountered multiple issues highlighting unfair billing practices, misrepresentation of fees advertise...Travel Agent Review – Ramada Fallsview on Stanley During my recent 3-night stay at this hotel, I encountered multiple issues highlighting unfair billing practices, misrepresentation of fees advertised on Expedia vs what was actually charged, and lack of transparency. I parked on-site for only 1 night at $25 + HST per vehicle, while both my partner and I parked off-site for the remaining 2 nights at $10 per night, as clearly communicated to the front desk . Despite providing proof of off-site parking, the hotel still charged the full 3 nights for both vehicles, which constitutes charges for services not rendered and falls under unfair or deceptive business practices. After numerous emails and calls they have since refunded me for one night however this is not sufficient. Additionally, my credit card was manually charged after checkout because housekeeping “found water bottles,” which the manager claimed were not complimentary due to a “big sign” (no such sign exists). The water in question was located by the coffee machine, which is looks as an advertised as complimentary with coffee/tea besides the coffee , and I did not purchase anything at the hotel. They did not provide me with anything regarding this transaction and still have not recieved a invoice for this. The hotel also failed to disclose that parking tags must be returned to avoid additional charges, I obviously would’ve $25 a day is daylight robbery given location and surrounding areas l. Because of these issues, I have filed a formal consumer complaint. Do not stay here. If you because of their low room rate , park off-site at 6095 Fallsview Blvd or at the many lower reliable and significantly cheaper parking lots. Guests expect accurate, transparent, and fair billing. Unfortunately, in my experience, this hotel did not meet those standards.Show More

Indoor pool had mold onthe sides. Beds sheets were dirty when we arrived and the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable and old.Show More

Dirty Shower (Ha...Brutal - Just BRUTAL. Where to begin. Reserved a King-Bed Room and Checked in for a Saturday & Sunday Night stay. When we entered the room we knew right away it wasn't very clean. Dirty Shower (Hair in Drain), 2 of the 4 Drawers in Dresser were Broken and the other 2 were Dirty. The Duvet had clearly visible Stains (Looked like Blood) and the Televison was way too small for the Room (Aspect Ratio was Off, Colour was Terrible and the Sound kept going up & down on its own) and there was no way of making adjustments. We requested a Room Change but of course on a Saturday Night in August - "No Available Rooms" to switch to. Manager promised us an "Upgrade Room" for our 2nd Night and the Maid came in to do a Cleaning - which didn't make much of a difference - as they used just a Spray Disinfectant to clean. No scrubbing - just a light wipe was what they considered a "cleaning" in Bathroom. On Sunday we had wait until mid-afternoon and go back to the Hotel to change Rooms. The Upgraded Room had a Jacuzzi Tub (weren't going to use anyway) and a Pull-Out Couch - that apparently our King-Bed Room was also supposed to have - but didn't. Room was marginally cleaner, same lousy TV but in addition the Ironing Board stained our clothes when we tried using it. Management/Supervisory Staff didn't seem to show much concern - we assumed that they know the Rooms are Dirty and have heard all of our claims before. The "Added Bonus" was - Our Set-Price Reservation included 2 Nights of Parking - but they charged our Credit Card again separately for Parking. When we saw that double-charge on our Credit Card Statement a few days later we tried Calling the Front Desk - but could not reach anyone. We then went through Reservations and asked for a Manager Call-Back - but No Word after 3 Days. We Called back late one Night and Front Desk finally answered but they did not have the authority to make Credit Card Adjustments - so a Manager would have to Call us back. 2 Weeks Later - Still Waiting for that Manager Call-Back. Never Ever will we step foot at this Hotel!!!Show More

That and the water pressure was great in the shower as well. Aside from this the hotel itself is in disarray I know that being located in such proximity to the falls has its challenges specifically with humidity. But the hotel is in desperate need of a remodel. The bathrooms were riddled with black mold, which was not great for me as I have a mold allergy. The room was not fully cleaned, there was old coffee under one of the trays by the coffee maker possibly from a previous guest that had spilled. This stained my clothes which was not great. The elevator worked but it definitely was scary at times, so maybe having a professional take a peek might be good. Also it just felt like the prices were low but there was some "nickel and diming" like $3.50 for the Fiji waters in the room which we did not touch btw. Also $25 for parking each day when there is $10 parking a block down seemed very unreasonable. Since my family and I went there for the falls and not much else we didn't actually check out the pool or the game room, so those offerings might not be 100% necessary. OH and the TV oh god that was awful like why even have a tv in there, it was all static and kind of pointless tbh. the view also could have been great if the windows were actually clean. Lastly the carpet smelled like feet. I got the reservation via a groupon so my expectations were already low due to this, with that being said this could have the potential to be a great hotel its just not taken care of well at this time.Show More
