Room was dark and thought it looked clean felt dingy as a result of the unsaturated decor. There was very little options for unpacking - no dresser, just one closet to share between all guests. Bathroom door was so squeaky we debated taking some WD40 to it - it woke everyone up if you visited the bathroom in the middle of the night! Housekeeping didn't replace towels unless requested - difficult when travelling with friends and you don't want to share towels - theres litter storage to begin with, how do you keep these separate? Front counter was initially unhelpful with the parking garage situation, but second person I spoke with at the counter was better.Show More

Wonderful location! very close to Common Boston Park where I ran each morning my 5 km before my work started. Here is the start of pedestrian excursions (Freedom trail) and bus tours. very convenient to go to all parts of the city (Bay Back, Beacon Hill, Downtown...). There are subway stations as well. Nice to have complementary coffee and tea (though it could be not Lipton). There are good food stores nearby as well. Wifi was good. Sleeping was good. Balcony was ok with some view on the city. Food arranged for the conference was of little choice but very tasty. European cuisine, loved it. There were some problems with payments, when i was charged 2 times for the same stay (by mistake) and I was upset for very long cash return of 1 part. But finally it was solved.Show More

The restaurant badly needs attention. We had mixed quality on food. Daughter had great burger and breakfast room service was good. The furniture was not appropriate for the cost of this hotel. It was shabby. Great outdoor deck. The lounge had weird hours. There is nice brewed coffee service in the lounge area. The staff at the restaurant were super kind. They did us a favor and it was most appreciated. Our room was very spacious with comfortable beds and nice linens. Shower was hot with good water pressure with C. O. Bigelow products including the usual suspects in addition to face wash, hand soap, and lotion. Lots of positives and they outweighed the negatives. This hotel has all the potential to really shine with a bit more attention to the restaurant and timing of services.Show More

I was greeted at check-in with an unexpected $40-per-day “amenities fee,” despite the fact that nearly all amenities—aside from the gym—were closed. No bar on room or even entrance to see the view. The front desk interaction was equally underwhelming. My room had no fridge, and when I requested a robe and slippers, they weren’t delivered until hours later—well after I had already gone to bed. The hotel also posted signage about conference transportation, yet no staff member could explain where the pickup location was. I later learned there was no shuttle at all, leaving me to Uber to the conference every day. Overall, the stay felt disorganized, poorly communicated, and far below expectations. I would NOT stay there in the future.Show More
